I am 100% convinced that the script for this movie was a vampire movie that they literally went through and changed the word vampire to werewolf all through it.

It's like I always say - when you're a veteran actor who's gotten roped into making what's clearly a bad movie, you have two options. One, phone in your performance, collect the paycheck, and escape with your dignity. Or two, which is my favorite, have a blast hamming it up, leave toothmarks on all the scenery, and be the only thing people actually enjoy about the whole fiasco. Jeremy Irons took the second option for the terrible D&D movie a couple decades ago, and God bless him for it.

I love how the werewolf queen and the doorkeeper goon physically match the secret necklace halves together, to make 100% sure it is a fit, as if their enemies keep trying to gain entry with counterfeit BFF pendants. Between that and all the edits it is like the director thinks the audience is comatose with stupidity.
I just love how they casually bring up they have the Holy Grail like it's nothing, "Oh yea, almost forgot we have the Cup of Christ right here, now moving on to these daggers"...lol

Trivia: Mariana is played by Marsha Hunt, the mother of Mick Jagger's daughter Karis and the inspiration for the Stones' song 'Brown Sugar'. If I remember right, wanting to see what Mick's ex looked like was the reason I watched this the first time I saw in the TV Guide that it was coming on late night TV o so many years ago.
The best thing these types of movies do is to make you think, "I could make a movie and in order for it to not be the suckiest thing ever, all it would have to be is better than this. And THIS got made!" Cheers Mark!

The movie ends with the famous "boob montage." Combining different clips made to look like reaction shots (especially the owl whose eyes widen comically) actually saved the movie for me the first time I saw it. It was the only thing I remembered.
I read (or saw) somewhere else (on RUclips) that Sybill Danning agreed, contractually, to ONE quick nude shot. So they got their money's worth by showing that One Shot, over and over again at the end.

This is a great comedy and I like it a lot more than Samurai Cop, Troll 2, or Starcrash. This is the funniest shit out there. It's not really a sequel to The Howling. This is a really weird comedy that is really a stand-alone film. What's really weird about it is that they seem to have set out to make a straight horror film, with some humour and themes they thought would appeal to teenagers thrown in, but in post-production they realised it didn't work and simply shot a few extra scenes and deliberately edited the material they had to make it a complete and utter mess. The result is a comedy the likes of which you have never seen. A must-watch. And pay attention to every scene, because EVERY scene has something weird and goofy going on.
This film had it all - werewolves, killer dwarves, women with terrific bazooka joes firm hips and juicy nips, Christopher Lee, lot of porking sequences, and thriller/horror elements. Loaned blu ray to friend they watched it and said you can see some guys choppers as well as womens whoppers, I have seen it few times I never noticed any guys choppers being shown in it? Obviously you do see womens whoppers (incl. Sybil Danning's, Marsha Hunt's, etc). Overall an entertaining though odd movie!

This is a great comedy and I like it a lot more than Samurai Cop, Troll 2, or Starcrash. This is the funniest shit out there. It's not really a sequel to The Howling. This is a really weird comedy that is really a stand-alone film. What's really weird about it is that they seem to have set out to make a straight horror film, with some humour and themes they thought would appeal to teenagers thrown in, but in post-production they realised it didn't work and simply shot a few extra scenes and deliberately edited the material they had to make it a complete and utter mess. The result is a comedy the likes of which you have never seen. A must-watch. And pay attention to every scene, because EVERY scene has something weird and goofy going on.
You must review Howling 3: The Marsupials. It is truly terrible.

i remember seeing this on TV when i was pretty young. Sybil Danning made me feel kinda funny, like when i climbed the rope in gym class.

This film had it all - werewolves, killer dwarves, women with terrific bazooka joes firm hips and juicy nips, Christopher Lee, lot of porking sequences, and thriller/horror elements. Loaned blu ray to friend they watched it and said you can see some guys choppers as well as womens whoppers, I have seen it few times I never noticed any guys choppers being shown in it? Obviously you do see womens whoppers (incl. Sybil Danning's, Marsha Hunt's, etc). Overall an entertaining though odd movie!
