- The all new 2013 Ducati Hypermotard got its first public road and track test in Rhonda, Spain at the International press launch and @motogeo was there to test it.
Ridden through the hills of the Andalusian mountains and then on-track at the exclusive Ascari Race Resort, the new Hypermotard was tested to the full in various conditions so MotoGeo could bring you the results.

Thats by far my favourite bike....
But....(theres always a but) I had to customized the front.(and many pieces)
The light is a different one,little bigger & round (old style) molded into a carbon fiber form w/o hiding the handle bars!!!
I dont remember the name of the process,but the frame was "powder coated"(not sure at all!!! I'm french speaking).So EVERYTHING is black matte,even the pipes.
The front fender is cut in half! The "behind the shocks part" is all there
.In front of it,I have 3,5 inches (easily replaceable if needed w/ a clip system).
I've been riding since I'm 8yrs/o,KX 80 and I never stopped.Many dirtbikes,scooter,YSR 50cc,w/ a 79cc motor (small racer made by yamaha),all kind of street bikes,enduro,supermoto....But my Ducati H-Motard 2013 is something else.

nice vid! is there something u would like to change? I found hyperstrada is hitting the central stand with two people quite often (150kg in total of human weight) and also engine starting is not fluent - hope is not an individual bike fault

The Hyperstrada could be a sick bike. Hypermotard fun with a little extra practicality.
Can't they just get rid of that piss cup! This is a Ducati! Dirt bikes have metal reservoirs, so can these street bikes. So much more classy.

Obviousely that is the famous Prosciutto crudo which comes from Emilia-Romagna, the region of Italy where Ducati was born. It is a pig leg rested under salt for months.

Great Video, great Review! I am wondering if it makes sense going for the SP version for mainly road use? I don't like the color scheme of the SP and the wheels are not my type... But im not used to having an unadjustable fork... Im pretty tall and weigh around 90-95kgs... I just heard its being too soft on the front...

The standard model has no "piss cup". The SP model has a more high performance master cylinder which requires the external reservoir.

how can a mod to the mastercylinder increase brake feedback? Isn't it completely closed anyways when brakes are applied?

If I were you I would go Ducati. In my opinion everyone rides KTM and it is to "common" for me. But that is just my opinion. Also I think the Ducati looks much sexier.
Would you please tell me about your lower gear? pants seems to be zipped to the jacket and have knee protection, are those alpines too? kevlars?

my dad buy this ducati hypermotart 2015 but last year(2014) he buy ktm duke.But i think DUCATI HYPERMOTART is way louder have 2 ekzos

How do you think it will perform on dirt? The Hyperstrada almost seems like it could do it with some nobbies.
This bike is not about such figures. It's actually irrelevant wiyh such bikes. The only thing that matters here is exactly what's emphasised in this review, fun!

It may be for you but not me. But then I've put a lot of miles on in my life.
reliability should be a top priority on everyones list if you care about your buying power. I dont want to say all ducati's are unreliable because they probably arent, its a shame about the hypermotard. At the end of the day go for the bike of your dreams and look up common faults based on the year/model if buying used.
