If the ACC violated their bylaws by unilaterally extending the contract it seems there’s a legit reason to declare it’s null & void. Also the ACC is a non profit so violating bylaws repeatedly seems like begging the IRS to dig into your business. Not a good look if these hit the Federal courts either.

The bylaws allow the conference to kick a school out of the acc. If it did by the accs logic the acc would be able to keep the media rights due to the gor even if the conference kicked the school out. So clemsons point is what is the differece between keeping your rights by leaving vs getting kicked out. Think everyone would agree that if conferece kicked a school out the school would get their media rights back but that is not what the acc is arguing. Its arguing the acc keeps the media rights no matter if team is in conference or not.
Do like oklahoma and Texas did. Give them their money and leave. They took the money they sighed for, if they want to leave, PAY the money they signed for. The ACC didn’t refuse to pay you what you agreed to. How in the hell can you say we don’t owe the grant of rights?
