- UTG TV captured the very first appearance of T.R.A.M. and could not be more excited to present you with two complete songs from their performance at SXSW 2011.
T.R.A.M. is comprised of such renowned musically proficient artists as Adrian Terrazas (The Mars Volta) on saxophone, flute, bass clarinet and percussion, Javier Reyes (Animals As Leaders) on guitars, Tosin Abasi (Animals As Leaders) on guitars and Eric Moore (Suicidal Tendencies) on drums.
The group's debut album, Lingua Franca, arrives February 28 through Sumerian Records.

This truly is a super band. Too bad they didn't do much more than Lingua Franca together. :(
dude, i just started listening to them again after 10 years, i thought they surely would have released something more by now. This is certaintly a one-of-a-kind band.

Does anyone know how often, if at ALL, TRAM tours as a band? I can barely even find any live recordings on RUclips, and they don't have a central site either. My assumption is just that since this was more a side project, they really don't perform together. Wondering if any of the constituent members ever play these tunes outside of the actual group TRAM, just because I've heard Tosin play some of the melodies as examples in his various clinics. UGH, I would pay all my money to see them play live though. I can't really even find another fusion band that's similar to this, like yes they're jazz fusion, but just not the same vibe that these songs are on. NEXT LEVEL!

Its Mr.Terrazas' project, of course. But his IG has a few T.R.A.M. tunes, but its his new ensemble playing them. hope this helped 🤘
