stank hooliganz Hi Stank - I said that the guy had a great feel for both genres...my standards for greatness are very high. I've heard people say Steve Gadd is a great jazz drummer. Really? Within THAT genre, Jack Dejohnette? Yes. Steve Gadd? not so much.

I know what your point was. I'm not going to argue about it. You felt the need to somehow enlighten me with regard to my point. A good drummer should be able to play all styles of music. Yes? My point was how WELL this guy played those styles. I've been a professional drummer since I was 16 years old and I've been employed in the music industry full time for 30 years. The fact this this man has 300 + thumbs down tells me there are over 300 jealous haters out there. This dude was on fire!!! Great drummer. Fantastic sound!
Its not necessarily about being jealous. Many of us drummers today feel that this style of drumming has been done to death by now. You remember the original gospelchops videos back in the day, where this drum trend started? Yeah,its 10+ years ago now.
To me this linear style feels like pop music, too much is too much. The market is over saturated by this style.

People hate and have jealously built in. Eric is just a man at the top of the drummer hierarchy. He will always be hated by those that either cant or wont.

Mr Eric Moore is A TOP NOTCH MUSICIAN who doesn't let his talent go to his head. I've noticed on interviews his humility in knowing WHAT THE LORD HAS GIVEN HIM to share with the world. He is very inspiring and motivational teacher of this fine instrument which sets the stage for the band. May the Lord BLESS Mr Moore in everything he does NOW and where ever his musical talent leads him.

Je retrouve des sensations identiques à l'écoute de "RED" de King Crimson; Tosin Abasi, Eric Moore (et les autres!) sont extraordinaires.
initially I perceived he was overplaying the song.. but as the song progressed I realized he was just keeping the groove in a song that just has a ton of dynamic.. master performance.

Mogę go oglądać bez końca, a ten kto tu dał "łapkę w dół"... pozwolę sobie tego nie komentować, no chyba że zagra lepiej w co szczerze wątpię. Just a fact from Eric against haters: He's got a kidney problem that disturbes his renin-angiotensis-system (medical word for a hormon-system)....so its waaay more difficult for him to lose weight, he's more healthy as he is now as if he did to much excercise! Respect him a lot :)
