Part of being an incredible drummer is to make sure your in ears never fit right, that way you can sustain the groove with one hand whilst making in ear adjustments further proving your limb independence.
His hands and feet are sick FAST but what's really fast is his mind. His natural sense of timing (no doubt tuned over 1000's of hours of practice) is amazing but his ability to think drumming allows his to play without thinking. Wait that doesn't make sense or does it.
yea he is amazing but he NEVER plays anything that I like anymore. always weird off time beats. his solo when he was 12 is the best haha. he could pull out the coolest moves but just bores me to death instead lol its just a matter of taste tho
I STILL occasionally listen to his drum solo when he was 12 years old. Mind boggling!!
modern drummer video ufff...

Eric moore is the best drummer
There is no best drummer. This is art. Not a sports competition. Once you think you're the best, you stop learning.
@@elliotbruce7173 why is there always at least one brain dead turd who is so insecure that he has to leave a comment like that?
LOVE the Steve Gadd reference around 3 minutes in.
Me too 👍

He’s a prodigy. Tony’s been wowing people at only 6 years of age lol just crazy man!
I get what you mean. The level of muscle memory he's developed to where complex grooves and fills are just automated.
