The most unhinged DBZ Kai of them all. It’s on the same level as Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged with the filler arcs where Martin will just do a “fuck it, do whatever I want” approach.
Me, an avid and repeat watcher of yugioh since I was young, completely forgetting Tea beats the Penguin thanks to LK.

That Rafael quote “I’m gonna kill this whole” season was an amazing line.
The pause between Krillin getting punched and the loud "FUCK" makes it feel like the hit was so strong that it took a second for his body to recognize it. Which honestly makes it even funnier.
Makes sense, it's like when a guy gets kicked in the balls and you immediately know something is wrong, but the adrenaline has to cycle out and then the real pain starts.
His nervous system was knocked out of whack again, couldn't quite feel the pain.

For obvious reasons, none of them feel comfortable saying the word outright in any context, but playing close to it is good for shock humour.

Vineger just leaving has the same energy as that random waiter in season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen who was like "I feel like I'm gonna die if I stay here so I quit".
Or the most intelligent batman henchman who walks into his boss's office and makes eye contact with batman just standing in front of the boss's desk and just... Closes the door and walks away, and when the boss asks him if anything was wrong he just says "...nope." and leaves.
I was thinking of that one random henchman in *Iron Man 3* who just puts his hands up and goes "Honestly, I hate working here. They are so weird."

The henchman who just leaves when they see the hero is becoming one of my favorite tropes.
The garlic jr line "Thats right, Fuckboys" is my favorite line in the entire show just due to kaisers delivery, its something i quote all the time in my friend group

The biggest thing I learned from these is that voices from all over the internet apparently ended up in DBZA as bit parts. I’m downright surprised there wasn’t Nyanners anywhere after finding out about Tomar and Connor.
He also voiced a couple of characters in *Hellsing Ultimate Abridged* (Freud & Headmaster in episode 7, _"A Scyte for Sore Eyes"_ )
I knew this for quite awhile.
I just discovered trash taste in around 2020 and have been on the internet for longer.
So it meant that a lot of old stuff you and me probably saw had Connor in it.
It’s honestly been such a fun Easter egg hunt of rewatching some old video going “hey that looks/sounds like-“ and then checking the credits and he’s there.
He’s always in way more stuff than you’d think he is.
It’s a similar vibe with Joshua tomar, Kira buckland, ARIN Hanson and Edwyn tiong(ohamamdon)

The "LEARN! LEARN! LEARN!" Teacher was so hilarious, I couldn't tell if it was actually part of the show or something you guys animated...it's even more hilarious now knowing that was in the show.
There is indeed an episode where Chichi gets Gohan a tutor who whips him. But it ends with Chichi finding out and kicking his ass, in the actual show Chichi was not at all okay with her son getting hit.

@@windhelmguard5295 Oh yeah, the one thing that makes the tutor thing even remotely tolerable is the fact that by the end of Namek, Gohan was strong enough he probably didn't even feel the whip. At most, it was the equivalent of tapping him on the shoulder. Still doesn't make it better, but it's a thing.

@@neodav00001 Well at the same time there's a concept of 'Ki Armor' which explains why Goku exclaimed in pain when Krillin nailed him with a rock before the Cell Games in the actual series. Goku had his ki armor down so he got hurt.
The same concept applies here and in Resurrection F when Goku got sneak-attacked by a laser.
Fun fact: When this episode came out, it was my first time ever watching DBZ abridged and idk how I stayed but damn it am I happy I did

This had so many great parts: the Chi-Chi intervention, Piccolo being a cokehead, Garlic Jr. realizing he don't need no deadzone to kill his enemies. And best of all was the live skit, I remember laughing so hard the first time I saw this. So good, and many hilarious memories ^w^

If I remember right, the reasons there is a challenge here, besides Garlic Jr's immortality, Kami spends most of the fight being near death, which weakened Piccolo so he couldn't step up and by the time Kami recovers, Piccolo has taken too much damage

Low key, the Taka drinking gag always sat kind of uncomfortably with me because of his recovery, so hearing that he was in on the joke and there were no hard feelings really warms my heart. I should have known you guys wouldn't do anything like that without talking it through with him, and learning that he insisted on the joke makes it retroactively funnier.

15:45 you should have done a cutaway slap like with Nail slapping Krillin or Frieza barfing on Krillin. I always find it funnier if a hit cuts to another scene juuuuust before contact because you have to imagine it yourself (and the implication that it's so violent you can't show it on screen, but can absolutely make fun of it)
With these eps like 2.9 I think a lot of the enjoyment comes from how much fun you all were obviously having in scripting and acting it out. Especially with how long some of the waits were, seeing you guys just be able to have fun was nice.

I’ve been watching your show since I was in high school. I graduated college in 2020. I literally grew up with DBZA. You guys reintroduced me to one of my favorite shows of all time. Can’t thank you enough for that. Because of you guys I went back and watched all of original DB and watched Super. Thank you all for all your hard work over the years.

First time I watched it, I was at first disappointed you didn't do a Micheal Caine during Piccolos shout. But then I thought "Well these guys don't do the obvious joke." So finding out you guys almost did that took me off guard.
