For those who have been in such frays, and faced those guns...and still can sing... The songs of battle are often lingering...it is the heart, that Drives them on... Sometimes to minor annoyances... Consider Hell broke Luce...by Tom Waits.😁 Thank you and also for such a beautiful smile dear lady!
OK I have so much to say.. i had Told you on one of ur kansas reactions that this is my 2nd favorite band.. My Introduction to this band was by accident.. literally...at around 8 years old.. My father had A man that worked for him That without my knowledge was a fan of this group.. Unfortunately he died in a car accident on Christmas Day. But he had left a cassette tape of uriah heeps magician's birthday. In my father's car. Somehow I got my hands on that tape... And it changed my love of music for ever... I had said to you in the Kansas review ..you should check out the song "tales" from this album.. David Byron the lead singer also had a great voice. Over the years they had a lot of changes in band members. David Byron died.... But they always replaced their singers with good singers... Amazingly.... I believe they got together in 1968 or 69... And they are still together today... With only one original member ..guitarist Mick Box.. I believe they have 24 studio albums and many live albums.. Their song "easy living" is their most well known song.. I would say.. they are the best band that most people have never heard of.. I would check out as much of them as you can... As far as lady in black goes.. Like so many of their other songs ..they are great story tellers... That song in particular had 4 acoustic guitars playing... which gave it that Haunting melodic tone... Check out weep in silence... And for a mellow song "come back to me" to get a feel for their diversity... Can't say enough about this group...👍
Your opinions are your own. I appreciate honesty in a reaction. Keep doing how you feel and don’t worry about anything else. Bless y’all.
