I don't get it sounds like I just took off my valve covers on my car.if that is drumming,I guess to each his own
I wanna see more videos with less assisted pedals. Double chain and regular springs, than play that same speed. To show your students that your not relying on your gear to play fast

DAVID DIEPOLD Even though this term is used lightly by the world I mean it *THIS MAN IS A LEGEND*
Funny story: I hadn't played drums in nearly 7 years, after financial difficulties caused me to sell them. They were everything to me for a long time, I was the star drummer in my school band and everything. I always intended to buy them back once I was good with money, but I just got lazy and caught up with career stuff.
During the COVID lockdowns, I started encountering drum videos when I was bored and scrolling; I saw David Diepold's cover of Kingborn by Fleshgod Apocalypse and was so impressed I started listening to the actual band.
1 week later I had a full electronic drum kit. 2 weeks later I bought Marthyn's programs to help me relearn and increase my speed. Here I am now, still playing regularly thanks to these guys.

For people that don't know. His feet keep moving left and right. I used to do this to stop cramps from happening. Now, if that's why he does??
Not for cramps. It’s swivel technique. Purely for quicker strokes. Just an added benefit that it alleviates cramps.

I don’t care what anyone says- yes he’s an insane drummer, yes he’s a legend. But.. that left hand freaks me out! I think he isn’t human, can’t imagine having that smooth of movement in a push pull.
