You choice the worste time to test my program twitch switch. First time server was offline. Its back up. It want detect any games, cause its missing the global games database. Should work again!
Will be giving this guy a chance. His twitch switch software should be really handy, for us streamers because I personally do constantly change games and its annoying when you realise mid stream that you have forgotten to change game.

The midi controller tool sounds really neat. One of the biggest jumps between the free, phone-based programs and a stream deck imo is the tactile feel, feeling a physical button respond to your touch, and to see a program allow for a midi controller operate as a stream deck really brings that to a lot more people and a lot more surfaces.
I was really surprised when I saw my Discord Overlay in this video. Happy to see it helps 😊 The greyish background is there mostly because of Discord's overlay transparency. I tried the classic green and it looked awful. On the plugin page I gave the settings I use in OBS to chroma key the window's background

This is super neat - the midi controller program is something i've been looking for! I'm hoping it'll work with my piano, because that'll cut down GREATLy on necessary upgrades to invest in if it does. If it doesn't, then at least I know there's no workaround I have immediate access to. Nohboard is something i've been looking for as well, though far less important. my friend uses it to capture his gameplay since he's a very high apm player and I like seeing it work for him. I'd definitely make use of it myself for my league content. It'd be really neat to show my hand processes to coincide with decisions I'm making, and how I make them since I map my keys a little differently than most people for access via my mouse. wanted to update this: it DOES work. I feel like a god now and nothing but my own hubris can stop me from playing my stream (literally) like a piano. LOL
I've been using a Berhinger xtouch mini and the obs-midi plugin for a while. Works for what I need. Can switch scenes and adjust volumes with a hardware interface. Not bad for the $36 I paid for the thing. I was tempted to try out the monoprice controller that has a bunch of buttons and sliders.
Wish I knew about the scene queue plugin during the pandemic. Would have made my church broadcasts much easier. I hope I won't have to use it any time soon tough.
You want physical controls with full customization without spending the money on a Stream Deck, get Touch Portal and run it on your phone or tablet. Can't beat it.
The scene queue and discord overlay sound the most useful for me. But I need a better upload and down speeds for me to do any streaming, and maybe a better graphics card.
Thanks for pointing out nohboard! I've been looking specifically for a "mouse direction/speed" visualizer for a while now (as a stop-gap for something else), and the ones that I found I could never get working. I'll have to get nohboard soon
... turns out it didnt work for my needs (trying to show gyro mouse movement with my steam controller, and it works so long as I'm in the desktop but as soon as I launch a game the game takes over and nohboard no longer sees my gyro mouse)
I wish this video came out a day earlier lmao. I have been wanting to use the knobs on my MIDI controller to control audio, while using the keys for macros in OBS. Unfortunately, either Voicemeeter or HIDMacros (the program I use to detect my MIDI controller for macros) does not allow for the MIDI controller to be detected by Voicemeeter once HIDMacros is open. So I went out and I bought a Razer Tartarus V2 to become my macro keyboard. Oh well, I'll find a use for it either way
is there a way so that the replay buffer behaves like shadow play (meaning it resets the timer) and doesn't save overlapping footage? show us the way epos, SHOW US THE WAY, I expect that video to end with "and this is the way", thank you friend
