Charles was 30 when he formed the X-Men, Scott was 18, Magneto was 36, in 2000 they only aged roughly 6 years of comic time and would have been 36, 24 and 42 years old in the first X-Men movie, Charles should be 42, Scott 30 and Magneto 48 in 2024. Why do people think Charles and Magneto are geriatric? Charles is roughly the same age as Reed Richards and Bruce Banner and younger than Juggernaut. Marvel has to stop casting actors 20+ years older than the character they portray, everyone wants RDJ to play Iron Man again, the dude's 59, Tony Stark was in his mid to late 20s in 1962, aging up 1 year per every leap year he'd be in his late 30s or early 40s in comic years. The only superhero in the MCU about the same age as the actor playing them is Spider-Man, at least they didn't use a 80 year old to play Aunt May, who's supposed to be around 50 in the comics, she's younger than I am.
I used to love and admire Professor X when I was young. Now I despise him. He became too naive and egotistic. Won't listen to anyone and believes he is always right.

IMO X-2 is only not the worst superhero movie ever made because of the Spawn live action movie. The source material for X-2 is the graphic novel "God, Loves Man, kills". They get everything wrong about Stryker in X-2. Best X-Men movie ever made my ass. I'm glad I wasn't drinking something I would've done spit take. They messed it up so bad that I didn't notice what they had done until they said it was the source material. That graphic novel is my favorite X-Men story and they SA it.
