  • In this episode of The Table With Anthony ONeal with Ken Claytor, we explore racism from a Kingdom perspective. Ken argues that racism is a sin issue and that Agape love should be the standard by which we measure our actions. I want you to know the difference and the importance of intent and impact when examining our actions or the actions of others. Don't miss out on this insightful and thought-provoking conversation.

A year and a half later my sweet son unexpectedly passed away - this increased our families bond - nothing else but forever with our Lord and the forever to come we still have with our loved ones really matters.

Pastor Ken quoted the final words of Jesus (Acts 1:8). My church in Atlanta uses this verse to implement our vision. We are to be witnesses in Jerusalem (building strong families), Judea (transforming the community), Samaria (reconciling cultures) and the ends of the earth (impacting nations). Our church has over 140 nations that call our church home. That's what heaven looks like. Thanks for this post. I just bought the book. Keep up the great work Mr Anthony. Professionally, anytime someone brings up DEI my eyes roll, for the last 8-9 years as it replaced affirmative action. If a company wants an intentional hire, I can do that but don't expect me to sit in a room and try to educate people's bias away, unless it's a Bible study. I can't do that work as part of my 9-5.

lol thats a joke right? every race is and isnt racist...I think its has WAY more to do with your up bringing than how you naturally feel we dont naturally dislike other races its taught to us...every person is different and not a single race is all alike so if you dislike a certain race you dont really dislike everyone in that race anyway you just dislike certain cultural actions or commonalities...but hate is also a strong word I think some people find certain cultures uncomfortable but they dont actually hate anyone for their heritage or skin color...We also are an ignorant species we don't like what we dont understand...

There is a fine line, balancing act and pull on so much but thanks be to God we can go to His Word to see what He says about it. That's the benefit of being in relationship with Him. I can relate with the pushback from our black community, I have come to the conclusion that many people will have much to say but what's most IMPORTANT is what God say. Ephesians 6:12

I know this conversation is uncomfortable on BOTH sides of the conversation. But isn't it time that we had this conversation to work through this issue?
The more we delay this conversation because of this discomfort, the more we can be divided as a people. 9/11 taught us unity in the most cruel way possible. We seem to have strayed from that lesson.
I can't change our history. What I CAN do is raise my children (I did), grandchildren (4), and great-grandchildren (yes, I have 1) to be better people that work toward treating ALL people equally no matter where that person comes from or what color they are.
God answers prayer. And if I don't pray for good things for you, then why would God give good things to me? He wants us to love one another and that starts with each of us - every day that God grants us life.

*Yes.* Racism is a matter of believing someone is *superior/inferior* due to inherited *traits* of their social and biological back ground.
In the US it's recently become convenient to state that your racism only has *impact* if you can exert *power* with it.
*The measure of it's Effectiveness , doesn't negate it's Existence.*

How is it convenient to the powerless (economically, academically, generationally, etc.) to be a racist and have no impact behind it? It's more convenient to the powerful, who can create a narrative that diverts the rightful accusations of racism from them to the people actually being degraded by institutions they created.

God has no interest in us as we do ourselves- read the memoir Night by a holocaust survivor- but god wants us to do the best we can with our consciousness and that’s our responsibility to honor the gift of life - to see the value of life beyond the surface of society and culture and all the labels we are taught to deal with. Praise the union of spirit in flesh unto the beyond.

I don’t understand racism at all, I’ve always seen people for who they are then what colour they are.. if someone is a good person, but it’s same goes as with if they are bad.. no matter the race.. we all were born on earth, doesn’t matter where, or what beliefs, colour you are. Maybe I am ignorant but I want to understand. As a white guy in his 20s I’ve always loved black culture, always will. Love to all, remember its always a lesson or a blessing ❤️

We don't need your book, read the bible! this is what the kingdom will look like.
Revelation 21:12...“And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:”
Isaiah 14:2, KJV: And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
You are trying to get Esau into God's Kingdom when the bible tells you they are going to be destroyed. The rest of them will be servants and handmaid's.
Romans 9:13..As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.”
2 Esdras 6:9...“For Esau is the end of the world, and Jacob is the beginning of it that followeth. The scripture says that they are our enemies, and they will never be your friend. They are going to keep being the way they are, until God returns and destroy them. Incase you didn't know, they are the tares that the bible speaks about.
