We got your back, anybody screws with you in a negative manner or harm you will face us. Hallelujah
Another great idea would be consultation.
Like, i bring my guitar in and YOU show me which pedals / amps would sound the best.
I'm sure there are THOUSANDS of us guitar players who just don't focus so much on being a tone junkie and wanna play.
And a vlog of you putting giant smiles on the faces of those of us who can play, but just don't understand what you most certainly do would be epic...
Great idea. Ive often thought of finding someone more versed in gear to help me out. I play ok but would love help with the gear side.
I never understood some of the best guitarists ive known don’t understand the tech side. I spent a lot of money getting an electronics degree to understand tone. Sure it gave me a career, but i did it for tone
@@MaxRockatansky853
I've been playing for 35 years.
Shred guy
I'm currently running my main axe Schecter C-1 SLS FR S Elite Evil Twin through a Boss ME 90 into a Boss RC 300 and out in stereo to a pair of Headrush FRFR 112s.
And it's a complete monster.
But, I'd be lost in front of any new modern metal amp.
I just don't have the patience for all the menu diving.
But, just show me.
I'm not blinded by pride here.
Show me how to make it better...
@@Ottophil
I've replied to another reply here and I'll say it again; I'm a lifelong shred guitar player of 35 years.
I can devote 12 hour shifts to practicing but I have no patience for all the menu diving and all the variables in how to shape my tone.
Admittedly, I'm medicated for anxiety but I just can't wrap my head around all the menus and differences and bla bla bla.
I appreciate those of you who find chasing tone a passion because I kinda need you guys.
Which is what I'm suggesting here.
Cheers
Everything you got going now is absolutely worthy of the “big things coming” hype.
Definitely going to try and make it out there next week. I’ll bring the Wizard 😉
I would be there but I live in Oregon, Used to live outside Buffalo, NY. Good Luck
Im definitely gonna head there from buffalo. Guitar gear and splash lagoon ....HELL YEA!
Been watching u since the beginning…. Congratulations on making moves.
Guitar farmers market?
Guitarmers Market? *Copywrite pending* 😂
@@erikrummel6277😂😂😂
@@erikrummel6277I came here to say that 😭😭
Lol that's what I was thinking, some kind of swap meet would be awesome
Wishing you the best of luck with your sales, Kyle!
Awesome idea.I’ll try to make it out.
Good luck with the sale!
I used to live in Pittsburgh when I was younger and used to come to Erie during the summer and go fishing on the lake. I wish I wasn’t in FL now cuz I’d be there in a heartbeat! Good luck with everything!
So stoked about this!!
Too bad I live a couple tens of countries away from there, but I'm extremely excited to see some form of vlog about it!
Best of luck to you my dude!
That sounds really cool!
Dude id love to come but wouldn't be able to make it this time due to how far away i live.
Definitely grab some clips if you can! Would love to see how it goes. Good luck and hopefully you will get a decent infusion of cash, cause that is a solid amount of great gear.
Wishing you great success in the sale
Pretty cool man. I’ll have to try and stop up!
Admirable. Will invest.
Keep the momentum going, bro. Make Erie Great Again. I can't wait to see the place. I get up there about once a year anyway, taking the family to Presque Isle.
Awesome
So happy to see your dreams come true...keep us updated bro....
Ps you selling any volume or expression pedals?
I'm in Cleveland and I'm interested in stopping by
I would love to check out but I'm halfway around the world! Good luck
Very cool going to try and get there
I wish I could travel that far for it, it's an awesome idea!
Great Idea wish I could drive out there maybe one day .🎶🎵🎸🍻
It's safer in 1400 miles away. Looks killer!
Haha, I'm down here in Pittsburgh, and there is a dude that constantly posts his "musicians yard sale". He's been doing it for a long time, but his gear is kind of lower quality. I often wonder if he ever sells anything. I did buy a Randall RG1503 in non working condition from him about a year ago, and it just needed the effects loop cleaned. That was a $100 gamble that paid off. I wish I had the time, and funds, to come see you brother. Good luck.
Saw the title and was scared at first because the market is just so unpredictable
So much gear 😮🎸🤘😀
On a different continent so can't really make it. I'd be there like a shot otherwise. Great idea and hope it goes well dude.
good luck
This is a logical progression, I was thinking you would do something like this with your new space. And I would video just for safety reasons.
I totally love your enthusiasm! Can I make a suggestion? To involve people from far away, have you thought of doing a raffle? You can put a minimum reserve for the number of tickets that must sell before the raffle happens so you’ll make what you were hoping to get and account for covering the shipping. To make the raffle fair, make it $1 or $5 per ticket - everyone can only buy a maximum of one or two tickets per item being raffled (so nobody takes advantage by dumping a boatload of tickets to increase their odds by a ton when most people can’t afford to do that. Who wouldn’t fork over a buck or two for a chance at winning whatever you decide to raffle off that time knowing the money will help you start a great music space in Erie? If you get the minimum number of tickets on ____ item, you proceed with the raffle - if not, the tickets purchased roll over to the next time you raffle off next time (if there isn’t enough interest in the item you picked to raffle the first time). You do this until you’ve collected your minimum amount of money for each prize to draw a winner. Make it a $1-$2 for less expensive gear like pedals and such, and $5 for amps/cabs.
Or a silent auction style thing? Same idea. You set a minimum reserve. Let people bid on the item without revealing how much people are bidding. Person who bids the most (assuming it meets your reserve) gets the item. In this case, winner pays shipping on top of the bid (unless you include that amount in the reserve) if the item is very large and heavy.
There are apps and websites to help organize these types of raffles and silent auctions. Then you can draw a winner on a live stream and ship the item to the winners. I’m sure you’ll raise more money than you think doing one or both of these things while still unloading some gear. Who wouldn’t plunk in a buck or two for a good cause where you’re raising money for music in your community while helping some lucky people win some neat prizes? (Might have to check with local laws to make sure you can do this, but it’s totally legal in most places so long as it’s 18 or older to participate.) Might be too late to do it for this gear sale, but technically you can do this anytime you want. I’d give it 1-2 weeks to give people time to enter each time.
Hope this idea helps. A raffle or silent auction helps to get you some cashflow by making it a collaborative effort with low pay to play stakes. It also gets people from the channel involved from all over and builds community within Erie and beyond - gives people a reason to want to travel to Erie for music and other events you’re hosting. If you get people excited about a chance at winning something and helping to collectively build something cool, they’ll want to make the pilgrimage to Erie to check out how they helped with some raffle tickets and enjoy the experience in person!
Man - I wish I was close, I would absolutely come by....
You have more amps than GC and Sam Ash combined. Good luck with the "store"
I hope to be there next month maybe.
A great idea Kyle , hope it really works out for you. It’s also a great place for the amp festival we talked of you having , what do you think ? I could bring one of my MI heads !
Other than my Warmoth I've gotten all my gear off CR/offerup. I like doing direct business with another player/musician that's trying to do the same thing i am... make a fair buy/sell/trade. This seems like a good idea dude. Good luck with it!
Awesome,I live an hour away in Jamestown, NY and work in Erie weekly, maybe I can make it over sometime. Also, if you need any electrical/networking cabling done I will do it "for the cause".
Good luck! Let us know how many tire kickers show up. Hopefully not too many.
Yes
No deal. Bring it closer to Georgia and I’ll think about coming
no.
@@belligerentamateur aw come on, it’ll be fun
Bro if you weren’t 1,100 miles away, I’d totally come! But I don’t think I could swing a trip like that for a random Sunday. Id love to come tho.
If only I lived closer !!
Congrats, Kyle!
Store name ideas: "No Bull Guitars" or "Sam Ash 2"
The Sound Hole!
I need some powered speakers!
9:33 ❤❤❤ bruh
I told ya 🤘😎
U got red bull machine too 👶👑🙏🥤👶👑🙏🥤
lol, some channels try to be funny and most just end up being annoying.
best of luck with everything you're doing!
Dude, You could do a 'only serious punters, no tyre kickers, via "paid appointment" only', type thing. Where you have complete control of your time and diary. Kind of like a private art collection, where you only have the serious collectors and buyers enter.
Otherwise security could become an issue, unless you've got onsite guard dogs and a back to base security system.
That way atleast your time is covered erellevant of product sales. Like all venues, its not unusual to pay an entry fee....
I'll take the 1986 Marshall JCM 800 WITH THE REVERB
Kyle RECOOOOORD today plz
I'll try and stop by. Eerie isn't super far.
I’m not far away. Id like to meet you someday dude.
I actually live right in the middle of you and Xander Ray
If your venue does a 90’s night, book my cover band haha
that will be sick. also i wanna play at ur venue lol like dead ass what do i gotta do haha i play in 2 deathcore/ metalcore bands lol
I'd totally show up if it wasn't a 7-8hr one way drive hah.
If I were anywhere near by I would take care of that AC issue for you. That be what I does.
Better then trynna do marketplace 🤷♂️
It will be an amp mecca
Hope things work out for you. I'm here in Flint, Michigan. Maybe someday I'll go out there sometime. Thank's. Duane McKnight
Oh, I'm also a gear head, lol. I'll give you notice. Thanks.
ANY idea that liquidates unneeded gear, but, doesn't take lots of time or extra manpower. Has to be welcomed. Might I suggest some type of display cabs or even large racks of some sort, that can secure guitars. This helps put your mind at ease, when there's dozens of villains milling about. Also, even alot of them amp heads. Should be put behind maybe some kind of long counters or display cases. In other words, out of reach. Otherwise, it's down to always having doormen during any open hours. That costs money. I'd be interested in building any custom display cases you can dream of, if you go that route. I've done quite a bit of that stuff over the years. Commercial stuff is extremely expensive.
Good to see, your realizing you definitely still need to get some stuff gone. That place isn't that huge, and until you get the basement set up. Your gonna be tight on space. I'd be seriously considering most small gatherings down there. The basement should have a vault in one corner, for an office, slash safe room. That gives you a quiet phone room, for paperwork and a register of some sorts.
It's always a work in progress, but your a sharp kid. And you have the most important part covered. DRIVE!
Stick with it for a few years. If it's poop, it's poop. But your sure as hell gonna find out! And I give you much props for that! Your taking a chance most squids would cower at the idea of! How can you know? If you don't try? Bravo chief!
Too bad I am on the other side of the country...good luck!
What if you did a once a month gear swap and shop? You could charge people to rent a spot in your studio to bring their own gear for sale. That might raise some money as well as help other musicians meet and network with each other.
Dude I live about a half hour from Philly in jersey….I typed “Erie pa” info Apple Maps, it’s 7 hours and 24 minutes away WTF I had no idea PA was that big 🤣
maybe just make a website and make it where visitors must make an appointment or something
I don't remember his forum name because it's been a while but I sold and traded with a guy from Erie Pennsylvania a Charvel guitar and an EVH LBX 15 head..the original 1st version..got me wondering if it was possibly you ? Well I hope it goes well for you Kyle..that seems like a good idea and hoping you can get out of it what you put into it and meeting and making new friends in the guitar playing world.
That's my birthday. I'm in uniontown pa, I should ride up...3 hours
My friend you ut. Such like pita funny****.bro RELAX,, Step Back AND LOOK WHERE U ARE !! You will succeed!!!! 😊
what?
@@belligerentamateur lol that made no sense ? Jeez I'm sorry ",,, I was just happy for you. Love to watch young guys with such cool stuff happening
Hey, listen hear man \o/ ✌️
Might be too far for me. But I would consider seeing if you can make a T-shirt for the yard sale. Get those merch $$s
I'm going to try to make it down from Buffalo
I've been looking at some of your videos and I was wondering. Can you do a vs series between duality dx and the king in yellow?
I got the duality dx and the king in yellow arrived tomorrow. I just want your opinion on what boost would be good and what would happen if you put the duality dx in the effects loop in the king in yellow
For some reason I thought you were in eastern NY... Erie is just a hop skip and a jump from Cleveland 🤔
Thoughts and prayers to your tax guy 😂
Probably cash sales
@belligerentamateur can you post a list of items that will be available with prices?
Hey Kyle do you have a set of rototoms for sale ???that would be a perfect fit for my band I’m in Youngstown Ohio not far away🤘🎸
If I was nearby I would help you move things around or whatever. Just to help.
Looking for a used Marshall 1960A or B cabinet... but I'm in Minnesota 😢
Thank goodness you’re not opening an actual guitar store, that would be fucking stupid lol.
Everything else is a great idea, monthly garage sale sounds great.
Dare I suggest make it into a market once a month (another income stream to your space).
Lot of independent artist and business gladly pay $30 to $80 for a spot to sell their stuff.
They are always looking for markets and random venues to sell. How do I know?
I help friends when they go sell at markets.
I’m looking for equipment for my kids band. Need one more guitar amp and cab also looking for bass amp and cab. Need mics and misc stuff. We have the EVH stealth 100 already so want something that would complement that amp and cabinet. I’m in Oklahoma and would it need to be shipped.
I finished oranges McLaren cars to donate the wind chimes channel. Sweetwater anyone?! Namastè.
Woww how many amp heads have you got ???
Any Gibson or Epiphone Explorers? 👍
😂😂😂😂
Damn I’m interested. Would you be willing to ship for people that can’t make it to your location.
If your selling things online what website do I go to for purchases
Do you have any Jacksons for sale?
Are you selling that OR30?
no idea why I thought you were michigan based I was about to fuel up the mazda. dang. PA is too far.
Oh shit
I wanna buy your Juno 100 head, will you ship to Cali?
So you’re saying you’re turning it into a Wendy’s ?
Metal. It comes from hell. And Erie, PA.
So you’re saying you’re opening recording studio….
Do I see a Valvestate in your closet?
👀
I tried to buy a Dr Z from you on Facebook but you never answered my inquiry.
I hate this idea because you live far away
