Video Game Themes. I'm running out of things to say about video game themes. Video game themes are here for you. They're here to make you feel many emotions and make your overall experience better. Unless you have the t.v muted. In that case, they are completely powerless. When they DO have power however, video game themes tend to stick with players for a long time (whether it be the actual song or the scenario the song was accompanying). Anyways, you've all been requesting this one for quite some time. Chrome Music Lab. I have never talked about Chrome Music Lab. All I have to say is....that was fun. You know, when I first used this Chrome Music Lab thing I was surprised at both how limited and how complete it is. Somehow.
Honestly, perfect description.
I haven't used it yet but I think if I do, I may make multiple versions of the same track and layer them in audacity to put multiple instruments in the song. Not sure how that would turn out.

Minecraft noteblocks are essentially a 3D interactive music program. While it's sounds are somewhat restricted to percussion, it does allow extremely fine tuning.
Zaire the sound changes based on what block the note block is on, so i think there might be some blocks that make a percussion sound

The string version really feels like being lost in a mysterious, foggy forest while in the final stretch of your adventure, like me and my companions are approaching the final big bad, and maybe not all of us will make it out in one piece.

Imagine him doing that as the music shifts into the string version in the video game(i think) that he's making when the normal song fades as the string version kicks in like the fade where the music doesn't get silenter and just striaght on play the string one as everything around you starts to get dark and foggy while the minimap also dissapears(Like breaks apart) to make your way out of the home stretch even harder

As strange as it sounds, I kinda miss back when you implemented megalovania into EVERY music challenge
I actually stopped because people started comparing all of my originals to undertale (and megalovania) to the point where some of them accused me of ripping off the soundtrack. Just wasn't worth the headache (and nothing feels worse than your work being devalued). But I've done some more on stream (including Deltarune stuff), so maybe I will try again and bring them back soon!

With the piece and its name, I sort of think of a weird 'void' in reality kind of thing. Or some kind of place that defies physics/fights to exist, constantly falling apart and piecing itself back together, waiting for someone to decide its fate, be it restoring the probably once stable and incredible area to its former glory, or letting it give into entropy, and laying a torn landscape to 'rest'. Either way, it'll break the cycle....But that's just my weird brain trying to explain a dumb

Chrome music lab is the whole reason I'm actually considering taking actual classes in music composition to be honest. I never had enough confidence to go ahead, but I was able to mess around and do something I liked and that was just a massive confidence boost, even though it was thoroughly mediocre.

If you want to make another one of these vids using a different music program, try Beepbox! it's a website based chiptune(ish) tool that is really easy to work with and has a pretty cool but pretty small community.
(edit): I forgot the best part, it's F R E E. no accounts or extra stuff. just go to the website and make stuff, save the link to save the project, and have fun!

I think chrome music lab is a good way of coming up with ideas for melodies, having a colourful visual is really fun
