Spell his name correctly - its Wendel
Clark always put the Toronto Maple Leafs first. He was there for every team mate when needed and it took a toll on his body. All the big hits, all the fights.... he did it all for the team. What a great team mate, player and Captain. He could have quit the fighting, less body checks, stayed healthier, played more games and scored more points but no.... he did what he had to do for the team, thats how he played the game.

From what I could tell from this video, Probert clearly won the first fight but Clark could have arguably got a decision on the other 3.. regardless a true warrior

Not a Leaf fan, but Clark was amazing. In today’s market he could easily get 15m/year. Imagine the direction and leadership he would give to the Leafs,…or any other team?

the first fight, Clark was at the end of a shift, but Probert hushed Maple Leaf Gardens. In the 3rd period Semenko jumped Probert and the refs jumped in as Probert started to get his momentum.

A Leaffan, I used to watch them religiously back then. Now I don’t even watch hockey, too many teams and diluted. I miss the dynasties Oilers Wings Islanders Penguins. Can’t built those type of team’s anymore. ❤️Probie, he had Kocur. Wendel was an island most of time. Be ready,Wendel didn’t wait.

Wendel sure could fight. That last uppercut by Probert in the 4th fight would have been messy if it connected. 2 beasts.

Probert was scary good. Clark had serious balls to take him on. He had to get inside and/or tie him up to have any success cause of the reach disadvantage.

These fights are not in order as they occurred. In the order as they occurred, 1st one a draw, 2nd one Probert beat and hurt Clark, 3rd one a draw, 4th one not much but slight edge to Probert, uppercut at the end. Clark was just an average fighter when he didn’t get the jump on a guy.
