Good video! I am also looking for a two system single monitor solution and I think the key is really a good dock/hub system. What refresh rate do you get on the monitor with the current Dell dock? I currently use DisplayPort for my monitor which is running at 144Hz, however I think some docks don't support that, only the standard 60Hz

You are right, docking station is important.
I believe mine is at 60hz at 2k resolution.
You need to look for a dock that supports your max refresh rate at the resolution of your monitor.

That’s the only challenge I had. I usually keep the lid open so I used the button directly.

Are you just swapping the source input on the monitor when you switch back and forth? I've been thinking of getting a KVM switch but it seems it will bottle neck the frames on my gaming pc

The monitors are connected directly to the laptops so I just switch the source inputs. KVM switch is ok for peripherals. I have not experienced it for switching different monitors though

Isn't that vertical stand blocking the Dell exhaust vents??

No. The exhausts are on the sides and not backside.

One is my personal laptop and the other is my work laptop which has restrictions from my employer. So I need to have both. I cannot install my work apps on my personal and vice versa

Hi, how do you switch the monitor between laptops? Don't think it's likely for the Ugreen switch to be able to do this.

Using the monitor button to switch. It has a joystick to toggle between inputs.
Also it automatically detects the one which is on incase only one system is on.
