You can use it in dark water tank if you don't want it removing the color from the water and shorten the lifespan of Purigen. It will not absorb the good stuff from the dark water. That being said, if you just want the result of dark water but doesn't want the color you could consider our Seachem Discus Trace/ Fresh Trace / gold trace. It have better results then dark water at enhancing the color of the fish and doesn't not tint the water.

Although it will reduce the production of nitrate but not by much. It is safe to be use in an aquascape tank. But it will remove the amber color of the catappa
Do we first put the Purigen in the mixture of bleach & water first.. after 30 mins to 8 hours, only remove Purigen from the mixture of bleach and then put the Purigen in Prime water mix to remove the bleach from Purigen? Or straight away can mix Prime in bleach water mix for 8 hours straight?
You can use them together. The function of clarity is to help stick small particles that is too fine to be filter by wool thus increasing it size and be filter out. But it doesn't do anything other impurities. Purigen is design to absorb organic impurities which will improve water quality as well as clarity.
Hi recently i set up a tank 30cmX30cm and i having some roots and seiryu rocks. the roots keep on releasing tannins(i think) and cause my tank to be tinted with yellow color after few days. as i am using Seachem Clarity., the water is clear but it looks like tint. Does Purigen help or any other will u recommend?i want crystal clear water, i had done multiple water changes within 2 weeks. @Seachem Malaysia thank you!
Yes you can use purigen to absorb any tint that is leaching out of the wood. Clean and recharge the purigen when you see the water become tinted again. Using Seachem Pristine will help too

Elak Purigen kena UV ya. Boleh letak kat mana-mana selagi lepas mechanic filter Dan tak kena uv

It will not release anything back into the water.

Soak in mixture of bleach first. After it's cleaned then only rinse with water and then soak in prime mixture to remove any remaining bleach

When you see the water became yellowish again you should reset the purigen.
