I had a pizza and a pasta at Rinapp last year I think and it was some of the best I have had in Pattaya. Extensive menu its abit hard to know what to choose but i had the ravioli with mixed vegetables which not something I would normally choose to go with pasta but it was so good. It was like a mixed vegetables sauce that was just unlike anything else I have had. The pricing is probably abit more on the pricier side, not the cheapest but not the most expensive. But the quality was really good and the portion size of the pasta was alot bigger than most places. I havent yet tried the Italian resto on beach road that you went to a few weeks back. That looked pretty good. Are u still going to continue the pizza reviews? NY Pizza which you did a while back is probably my fave NY style pizza in pattaya. Hope you continue to do more pizza reviews. Prego i havent tried in Pattaya although if its the same owners as the one in Manila, then it must be good. More on the fine dining Italian side.
I am a huge fan of Italian food my first girlfriend I lived with was half Italian/English but spoke fluent in 5 languages. I learned a lot about Italian food but this was many years ago. I am currently in the UK for a family wedding I will be back 11th May and continue.. More on the Italian food with Italian pizza as I think it's far superior but maybe I am biased.

I think Pattaya is going to prosper no matter what the future brings. Nicky's new restaurant looks like it's going to be a winner. Isn't Thailand planning on doing away with all the smoke shops? How is Seiso going to open up a smoke shop when the plan is to close all the shops by the end of the year? I heard that the shops can remain open for medicinal purposes. No more recreational smoking.

Nick, very careful with TV crew who are filming a documentary in Pattaya. Don't assume that they have in mind to portray your bar and Pattaya positively, quite the opposite. See "The Return of the Sex Tourists" from German television, which even on Al Jazeera in English portrayed Pattaya and the people here very negatively. Look at how Malee, "Queen of Pattaya" was slandered there.

I'm from Perth Western Australia I just want to know can you recommend a budget hotel with a balcony swimming pool and buffet breakfast possibly around soi boomerang or soi buakhao and a good English fish n chips as I'm coming there around August or September. And I'll probably nip to your bars in soi 7 to come see ya.
The hotel entrance shown quickly in this video next to Nicky's current restuarant. Called the golden sea. Very good value for money. 2 pools big rooms with balcony. I paid £23 with out breakfast but you can pay for the buffet breakfast. I stayed for 13 days at the end of Feb and will stay again on my next trip.
