Really appreciate your video and work. I was trained in the hotel school and I miss all these service spirit. Nowadays. People pay less attention and become way too casual and miss out lot of details. Your video really necessary for many people
Say it louder for the… nowadays people don’t put efforts and eating ain’t enjoyable anymore.. this is how to eat … love everything about this… he’s taking time for the customer… very friendly…
8:02 what i noticed here that is super important is that he is not grabbing the food perfectly. what i would do in that situation is hurry up to try and fix it but he is taking his time while being confident which really sets a whole different tone for the table. great work!
Woow. Amazing. Thank you for the video Sir. You are following proper standards which is similar to LQA as well. Thank you again for this amazing content😊
Lower from the left and raised from the right has been a huge debate from either sides of the pond. When I worked in the Uk it was always right when pouring drinks and drink glasses, Left was always delivering food and taking away food plates. Which way is correct?
There are geographical variations. In most places, food is served from the left and cleared from the right. However, it can vary by country or restaurant. For example, in Scandinavia food is served from the right and cleared from the right
excellent service and gesture only difference in jamaica tables turn over really quickly there's not much time to be all fine at serving 5 or 6 tables at once
how did you know that the first guest preferred to have a decaf coffee? Did you make an inference based off something she had said, or is there something I'm missing?
I'm trying to learn about serving because I will be serving as a short-term job during recess. Should one offer a "handbag rack" for a lady to put their bag on?
The hand bag rack is an excellent service to offer. You dont need to verbally comunicate this just simply attach is to the table and the ladies can decide if they want to use it or not.
The dessert Spoon and Forks should be placed down, spoon at the right and fork at the left when you are about to serve desserts and the coffee cup should be at the right side of the guest, anyway maybe in your country thats a normal settings.
@@waitertheresmore WE do International fine dinning settings, Im with you the dessert silverware will be at top of Charger plates , spoon facing left and fork down facing right in the beginning of table set up, but before the desserts serve the dessert spoon and fork need to pull down to be placed at right and left, then serve the dessert, I think thats a proper way.
Am from india i work in 5* hotel sop is different ...but your doing very great job and my dream is work outisde of india we got too much less salary here
B&B plates were put down on the wrong side for the lady seated on the left, then when the ladies were sat it was on the left side You do not say Let me get the menu. Say, I will return with the menus You service is inconsistent. You removed the soups from the left and the right, you removed the entrees both from the left Never place a bottle on another unused table . Why were the dessert spoon and fork not slide down from the top of serving area to next to the guests hands? Impressed that you went through the motions. Maybe should have done a dry run, reviewed the footage, then made adjustments or your level of fine dining is not as extensive as I know
For this video we rented a part of a restaurant and time was limited. Our idea for this channel was to help the vast majority improve by as much as possible and I have not worked in a decade as a waiter. Still we think that it’s better to do and improve on the way rather than nothing at all. Your feedback really helps and I totally agree and in hindsight Im very aware that I’ve made mistakes and I will correct those in future episodes.
Overall it’s good but a bit invading and too much.. let the guests breathe unless ofc you know them personably … but I wouldn’t like to be invaded like that .. but you do it with a smile that I’ll let it slipped away 😀😀😀
As a professional, you are not supposed to touch the guest seat. That too familiar . You are also mixing up the service standard. You serve from the right and clear from the left. But I see you started your beverage service from the left, you said it because it tight to service from there. And I noticed when you want to service the food you did the right service. Which is,you served the food from the right for both guest. So right now am confused..
Yes good point! It is familiar but this has been a good thing for me because the restaurants where I have worked did have a warm and familiar style as a concept. As you say it won’t be appreciated an all venues.
I like your lectures but the practical when it comes to the service standard of food and beverages. You are mixing it up. You serve from the left and something you serve from right... But the real service is ,you serve from the right snd clear from the left.
Thnk you for your feedback. I realise that I can explain the exceptions way better in the future and I would like to make a new episode regarding this.
Tons of napkins are nice also, but not that important, especially for holding the bottle Get your tools ready before servings, not in front of guests faces

Good teaching sir this is really helpful where are you working
Thank you!

I could visably ser that she’s pregnant so I dared to make an assumtion and she did not mind.
She only had n/a drinks too
Brilliant service
Thank you!
Hello!
In 4:31 min you have nice table duster. Can You share some link to buy it?

Tack så mycket!
Det är lätt att filma hos er! ❤️
Amazing bruh and thank you so much love from India
Thank you!
I often feel hard to explain food ingredient to guest is there any tips that could help me out. Thank you.
Practice talking out loud in front of the mirror at home.
Read the menu out loud often and get used to saying the words
Wonderful ❤❤❤❤ services
Thank you
Thank you 🎉
What is placed next to the bread on the plate. Is it butter wrapped in foil?
Yes, this restaurant has it portioned like this.
If you get stuck pouring wine from the guest’s left, is it preferable to pour with your right hand or left hand?
Open hand service always (within reason). You never want to backhand the guest. Also the label of the wine facing the guest is always preferable
Thank you for answering!
Agree!
Always open hand, and as the gold rule Label facing to the guests 🤜🤛

Sorry sir but you don't use salver when you clean the bowl from the table😢
Salver?
@@waitertheresmore the word salver is more used in the uk. it is essentially a round tray used for serving food or drinks
Amazing!! Thanks for the video!
Thank you!
Nice
Thanks Sir.U r handsome and so smart 😊

Well they have good food.
Because I have seen in many restaurants they so little in a meal.

Ok but ummmm ok when you pour should be label up so theysee itand after you present label
Yes label to the guest when presenting the wine and if possible when pouring
@@waitertheresmore label up when pouring lol sorry i work in fine dining I'm so picky your good its hard to explain thr dance so msny details
No worries, I agree and totally get it! Next time I’ll correct my mistake😄
Can i join ur restaurant?
We dont have a restaurant. We’re an online waiter academy soon
in italy coffee is after the dessert and of course: cappuccino is only in the morning
Totally!
But in this case the guests want it at the same time as their dessert.
I wont lecture the guests

Really sorry for you sir, but here I done a lot of mistakes and I've been watching just the first 3 minutes.
Nice enough, but somewhat flawed
Starting On 3:25 and so on pooring wine with a closed hand, use different hand, amateur mistake
Tons of napkins are nice also, but not that important, especially for holding the bottle
Get your tools ready before servings, not in front of guests faces
Very attentive but very unlike formal service in the US or britain
If they were in the US or Britain, I would say that this was not well done at all.
I agree.
I wish to push the level higher but it will take me som time to get there. I learn as I go
No touching the guest, no assuming, label of the wine to the guest
Serving is just rizzing up a dinner 😭 not that hard
Yup
I am a professional in making by God’s grace, let me believe you are making a video bt in reality the talking was too much.
May I know, where he did this video? I want to make a reservation one day if possible 🫣☺️. This video is really helpful 👏
This is Särö hus, spa hotel i särö sweden
@waitertheresmore I hope I can go there. Thank you for this wonderful lessons. I just start my career in this role🙏
