I remembered when I was working in okada manila every food need to introduce into the guest and also when I working in Aramco saudi arabia.. this service look like basic but you need to focus into the guest.. thanks for this video...🙏🙏🙏

U are okay but , That's a just training for us about removing the seat as a kind of interest until leaving the table . Generally , They want to show the steps from A To Z .
Moment of true at last step, you can offer Coffee, tea or digestive drink… and recommend what special we have in the next few days in order to attract them come back again. Very important in hospitality.

That is an excellent skill for working in a diner or some other basic restaurant. I’ve never seen an arm carry in fine dining.

im working in 5 star hotel Restaurants ( we have 4 ) and we only carry 3 Plates at most and only if there is no other choice ... usually we have 2 Plates - one in the left hand and the other on thumb palm and 2 fingers along ... but - bringing food out i find a piece of cake - clearing a table infront of guests is much more challenging^^

Pengalaman saya kuliah di SPB sebelumnya saya jurusan tata boga, dan karena saya tidak punya biaya untuk melanjutkan study akhirnya saya memutuskan berhenti padahal tinggal 1 tahun lagi untuk mencapai D2 midle level tata boga, tapi saya bersyukur setelah lulus dari sana saya memberanikan diri bekerja di restaurant hotel kecil menjadi bar dengan pengetahuan yg minim tentang bartender dan tidak lama saya menjadi head bar disana, akhirnya saya memutuskan berhenti di sana dan mencari di bagian supervisor restaurant akhirnya sampai saat ini saya menjabat supervisor restaurant
Syukur awal kuliah saya tidak pernah bolos karna pelajaran basic di awal kuliah sangat penting

Bottle on tray should be closer to your body, not forward . That how you can control weight , and pervert to spill the drink on quest. Sec one when you carrying a Tray is better with twisted hang ,not flat . It maximize you control much, much better. 3 th one. Service should be from right side and upservice from left. Here everything goes from the right.

Need to not be a student. Get into the trenches. Fk all that paper skill. Ive worked with managers that HAD NO FREAKING IDEA of how to be a worker. Ie... server.
Can you serve?
Can you bus?
Can you mix a drink?
And so on???
When you can do all these activities..then and only then will you get THE TRue respect of your staff.
Be prepared to roll your sleeves ul and get dirty right beside those you supervise
