- As one of the pioneers of Seattle's alternative rock sound of the late 80's, through their commercial peak in the mid-90's, Soundgarden always made a point to feature their music on the vinyl format. From early 12" singles, to limited-edition box sets, and original pressings, in this video G.I. Sanders, owner of NTX Vinyl and long-time collector, showcases his personal collection of Soundgarden LPs.

Hell of a collection. Soundgardens my favorite band. I used to have Superunknown on double blue and Down on the Upside on double cream around 20 years ago but regretibly sold them.

I've been a fan since I bought Louder Than Love (on cassette) in 1990 and I'm always looking for their releases on vinyl.
I picked this up in April 2022, Ugly Truth (Live At The Paradise Club Boston 1990). But I see I have a few more to find. Thanks for the inspiration.
CC is probably one of the best singers in any genre and I regret never seeing him or the band.

If you like Superunknown and have a good system, you need to find the German 320 pressing. Its all analog and mastered by Willem Makkee and its the best that album will ever sound. Its not easy to find and you will pay for it but Its worth the trouble.
There is also an EU 320 pressing of Badmotorfinger that is all analog that sounds better than the original press.

Hey bud thanks for this vid. Honestly I only got into Badmotorfinger when I saw Jesus Christ Pose video. I saw it on a pay per video channel on TV back in the day. I fell in love with this album but quickly moved on to other new music. Almost embarrassed to say I do not have this on vinyl. What version is the best sounding and still attainable at a good price. I still have my original CD and cassette. This will be my next spin after my spell of Alice in Chains appreciation. The 30th anniversary got me into Alice in Chains again.

@@NTXVinyl I have all but MTV Unplugged from Nirvana. The 2 from Soundgarden, & TEN, Vitology, and No Code from PJ. Closest I could even get to AiC is Mad Season of all things! I wonder why Alice is so expensive 🤔 😕 😫

Hey man, just found your channel while researching original pressing Superunknown vinyls, and I’m not sure if I should just go for a reissue or the original. I really want the original with orange translucent but the cheapest one I can find is £115 (I’m English haha) and that’s incredibly expensive but I’m actually really unsure of what to do
