- After years of eyeing this spot, and a month of elbow grease - we moved our original NTX Vinyl location to our (hopefully) permanent home inside Painted Tree Marketplace in Highland Village, just north of Dallas. In this episode of Talking About Records we discuss everything that went into relocating our largest shop.
✶ Talking About Records is presented by NTX Vinyl, a local, independent, chain of community based record stores in the DFW area.

New shop looks great. Good video.
Appreciate it!
Looks amazing... I'd be there if I was local, for sure.
Thanks!
If you ever build another record shelf, please do a video on how you built them. That would be so helpful! Love you videos!
Great idea!
Congratulations. Can’t wait to visit the new spot.
Very rad. Congrats on your new shop. You’re living the dream man!

Thank you!
Really cool to see all the hard work that went into the new space, can’t wait to see it in person. Glad things are going so well for NTX Vinyl
Thanks so much!
Hell yeah, best of luck!!
Very very clean and organized. A rarity in music shops these days. Congrats on the wonderful new location! I wish I were not so far away so I could see it in person.
Thanks so much!
Congrats! I have two stores in the Antique Depot in Ellicott City, MD. My main floor store (2,000+ albums) sells sealed and the more collectible used. My lower level store (3,000+ albums) stocks less expensive ($5-$15) rock and jazz LPs. I love the fact that both are close to home and low maintenance, which allows me time for my Discogs and eBay stores. Best of luck in your new location.
Awesome! Love to hear it Randy. Best of luck to you as well
Impressive!
Wow how do you only have 9k followers???
I’m gonna take that as a compliment, Kurt. Thank you!
hi! any chance you have or know of a video or schematic for that kallax hack? thanks! cool video!
Have you had many problems with not physically being in your shops; theft, mishandling records, etc?
It happens. But that’s the case with any retail environment. Very minimal.
