Could you make a current video like this but for current date? Just found out about mining two days ago and can’t stop watching videos. Injured myself and can’t work and need to figure out passive income.
As a person who does mining this is actually very good and accurate way to start like great job man very well explained. Like if I made a video like this I would’ve just said go on mining cave and buy a pre-built mining kit if you don’t know how to build pieces really or just go buy an OCTO miner and just buy some 3060 TI‘s.
very good video i would use the affiliate link but im in the uk and we have this second hand store called cex and they test all there products before sale and if it works they put it up for sale well its also very cheap so i could buy perfect parts or used parts that work the same for about half the price of amazon ones again no hate brilliant vide just its cheaper to get 2nd hand

But how good(bad) is a Mining combination like that for AI and Parallel Computing purposes (Machine Learning/ CUDA)? I got 8 older GPUs available (gtx 970s-2080ti) so this could be a perfect option to reuse them. Or did u already did a video and I dont find it? Cheers Marc.

What about covering EVGA, ASUS, ROG, MSI, and ZOTAX GPUs? Also, why is this not on your main channel? Most of the videos you placed on this account are 4 years old from the UFD account. It is like your double dipping with outdated material...ugh
Not advocating this but my wallet liked it... I started with old small wattage psus with the power wires spliced together to keep them on. Some psus only had one GPU attached to it. I think in total had six GPUs and 5 psus sitting on an old junk bookshelf.
If you are cruising in a Rolls that was bought from profits the feds will be at your door - more likely the yearly profits will contribute to a $15. shopping spree at the Dollar Store.
I completed my first mining rig by following the last video and I have upgraded and I'm onto my seccond miner already , I tried using the b250 but didn't work for me ... So I am using just a 310m with pcie to usb splitters ,, running 14 rx580s across 2 rigs ... But I've learned alot about power supplys .... If you want to run lots of cards eventually ... Don't cheap out and start with a weak PSU and get a 1000w/1200w depending on how many cards you want to run ... Amazon is amazing for mining rig parts !
You doing fine with the $/hash rate? What I learn about mining is that you have to calculate the efficiency of each card before building the 1st rig which is I'm about to start mining too, the Polaris isn't efficient enough for beginner from any perspective, i think for building should begin with 1660s at least because of the efficiency wise, I'm still saving up for my 1st rig with used 1660s probably a week or 2 weeks again for complete build because buy per parts is 1 of the cheapest way to get it(discount time) 🤣

I have 1 concern about mining that has pretty much stopped me from pursuing mining, maybe you can help clear things up. Say I buy a rig and put 6-8 gpu’s on it that when combined are making like 6 dollars a day. This costs a lot of money and takes a while to pay off but once it’s payed off it’s pure profit. Here’s my problem, after doing all this work and waiting all this time the payoff is still just 6 dollars a day. So assuming nothing changes then I’m only making 2k a year. That’s not worth the effort put in in my opinion especially with the risk that you make even less. Maybe I’m missing something and you can help enlighten me. I think mining is really cool but I can’t see the cost to benefit of doing it unless crypto really booms.
No, it is called "passive income" dear, because we as miner invest in the "hardware" then what we earn is free time and $$$(because our "worker" just doing fine with just electricity cost+some low internet usage), 1 more thing is the coin price always goes up even if we always know in the market that before the bullish there is always the bearish, the point is do the research on coin before mining it 🙂
Remember you are not working for the price it's saying .. you are working for the price prediction of the time you cash in .. eg, market next year when it's back up
you set it up once than dont touch it again you basically make a free 2k a year for doing nothing sounds good to me than with the 2k in passive you just made you buy 2 more mining rigs that are making 6k a year now next year you buy 3 more mining rigs and making 10k a year doing nothing while you work and make more money its all about that hustle baby
@@damienwhitehead1100 Until you realize the mining difficulty is increasing and the profitability is low. Then you also discover there's mining crash or a coming war. A long time ago, it was profitable when the difficulty was at its beginning and gpus were cheaper. No, you can't even make it to the ROI if you start at the moment. The same story with asic systems, they are obsolete now and they couldn't even be sold as used since they are useless.
@@damienwhitehead1100 If only it were that simple. Its not a one stop shop set up and forget. You constantly have to monitor your rig, make sure everything is functioning, all your hardware is up and running. And that something stupid or some hazard that never happens...happened. Increasing difficulty, increasing electricity prices, price fluctuations and market cycles means that, it is by far an insanely difficult way to make easy money. Even slightly poor timing could absolutely wreck that grand plan of yours. Essentially, if you buy when the market is hot, and now youre stuck accumulating for months and years before breaking even. While the value of your hardware basically goes into a dumpster since the miners are selling all their rigs and gpus to get out. So, its certainly possible to make money but its most certainly not as passive as people make it out to be. Ofcourse, if you are someone who already has money and youre okay getting your capital stuck for a few years while you wait to roi thats okay, but for others it can be frustrating.

I use said warranty coming up to the end of it and get brand new GPUs with a fresh manufacturers warranty 😉 everything else is cheap .. too many neigh sayers when it comes to mining ... Going by the expected rate in 6/12 months I've earned £10,000 in past 4 months .. now tell me that's not worth it !
I have two rx 580 8gb in one desktop with NiceHash but I’m only getting 25 mhs on one and 6mhs on second how can I fix I put compute on the amd software but seems like the compute not turning on the second one help plz
It's a bit of work, but you can make a HiveOS USB drive. Boot from the HiveOS usb when you want to mine. Hive makes a lot of the setup and running of the mining software a lot easier.

Before COVID I bought a gigabyte gaming board used for $50 and it's 150+ on eBay 😂😂😂 and not grounding a open air board is a big no no lol
Get yourself a Rebtech motherboard it'll save you so much time since it comes with everything you need except for the risers

The 3050 actually makes about 13.74mh/s on rvn with smaller overclocks, makes around $20/month mining rvn at $0.04

@@munchmann1320 Let me also confirm that gpu warranty is lost the second you overclock or underclock! There are softwares to check that. Cheers!

Try to switch place on the cards, and if that works that the low hash card gets 25 mh it might be a PCI lane issue
