My dad introduced me to this band. He passed last December. I like jamming all his tunes we listened to together remembering the good times. Love ya dad miss you ❤️
I'm Brazilian and I met the band Jackyl on a trip I made to America in 1994. As life is amazing, I still listen to the songs and smell the cd I bought at the time! Here in Brazil the band is little known, but I helped to spread its legacy 🇧🇷
Lol just turned 62 and beleave it or not,I'm just hearing this carrrrraaaannnnnkkkking song! Of course I've heard thier other cranks but not this one!!! What a great band, especially thier crank " I stand alone"! Jackal fn rocks!!!
*This song is SO farking underrated!* Fun fact: this guy (Jesse Dupree) was once my neighbor (not directly next door, but a few houses down) years ago in a sleepy little northern suburb Atlanta, GA, USA. I still think Jackyl could have been MUCH bigger than they became, IMHO... but their record company sucked at promoting them effectively. They rocked hard AF (and I assume, still do). Oh, & hi Jesse from an old neighbor from your old 'hood. Keep rocking on, brother!
I used to party with the boys back when they first started playing in the clubs in Kennesaw and Marietta and Atlanta, I brought the reefer and they called me "two-toke" Tony 🤘🤘😎😎
Just love Jesse!!! Has always been an amazing entertainer in my opinion... Has the balls to sing wtf he wants lol..And really love Chris Worley....he is just so down to earth in his interviews.... One of my favorite bands for many years....
Seen JACKYL, shit I lost count how many times. Though they aren't a band you think of as being that popular, they always sell out when they come to Oklahoma City. Wish they would get a lot more recognition than they do. Jessie always comes and hangs out with everyone. They are just some down home country boys that realize being cool with the fans goes farther than others I don't care to mention.
Saw them live at The Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale late last year AND IT was EFFIN A!!!! I never got so many wood chips stuck to me. I felt like a breaded "chicken" cutlet😋
I love Jackal's music.Jessee James Dupree ,so badass w/that chainsaw at concerts.I went to the one in Johnson city,TN and you guys come in 2nd to AC/DC in my opinion.Love u guys!
You guys FKN rocked New Orleans when ya toured with zz-top,,,,,,, I will NEVER forget Dixieland,,, you guys played it PERFECTLY,,,, damn that was so fkn good,,, Jessie, met ya at Birmingham with Ted and Damn Yankees,,, ya fkn rocked that night too,, still got the picture with you and the band,, you will always be one of my favorite get down Rebel Yell Bands ever,,, come to Texas, thats where i live now, i lived in Talluhla Falls back in 70's,, GA, got a aunt and Uncle in Fulton County,, take care,, you guys Rock
Awesome!!! Loved it when they perform it live!! Seen them twice when I was stationed in Colorado, once in '94 then again in '98. Caught the shotgun shell Jesse James Dupree tossed into the crowd ( after firing that double barreled shotgun ). He even signed it after the show:)
I got to see these boys in concert in Chattanooga during their 50 concerts in 50 states in 30 days tour. His hair smells so amazing and feels even more amazing!!!
Go see them every year at the Shed in Maryville, TN. Every time I go to see them it gets better. One of the few bands I missed in the 80's and 90's. JACKYL Fucking rocks!!!
THEY USED TO ROCK NOW ALL JESSE DOES IS TLK AND BULSHIT HE NEEDS TO MAKE UP HIS MIND TO WHETHER OR NOT HE WANTS TO TLK OR PLAY MORE TLKING THAN ANYTING REASON I DON'T GO SEE 👀👁️ EM ... ANYMORE SAVE YOU'RE MONEY 💰💵💲FOLKS YOU'RE HARD-EARNED 💰 MONEY 💵💸💲AT THAT ...

❤Yeah i originated out of the 70s, it was a good era. I finally listened to other bands from the 90s and Jackel is it, WOW i love dirty little mind, cool, they take me back and i love it, i now like more bands today and i would see them in concert anytime, hey to the GOOD OL BOYS Luv ya, Rose they call me Aunt Rose
When I saw Jackyl in '94 I figured they would bypass arenas and the next time I would see them in a stadium. Of course that never happened, because they never put out an album of the same quality. But when I did see them, they were one of the best concerts I had ever seen.
and a lot of people went to Argentina, I have Lebanese, Spanish and Italian ancestry so they all had their reasons to be moved around, fact is we will never know the truth
hola! I've been living and working here for over 20 years, it's amazing how people still tease me about the Falklands as if I started the war! I mean, my father was kicked out of the military service because he was myopic! my father was so intelligent, a great man, I'm so proud I was his daughter. he was an engineer, electrical! the best! he died in strange circumstances, my family will never know what they've done to him! in fact, if I lose my job this week I'm buying a last ticket to Las Vegas and jumped off the stratosphere!
sorry to hear about your Dad, my father died at 56 years of age, in September so I don't like that month! he just died! sudden heart failure, really bad. I grieve all the time, but my ex husband behaved worst than a beast without its pride. I was well off, had my permanent job as a flight attendant with British Midland, one day the phone rings, I was about to eat a take away curry my ex bought, he was an airline engineer. my sister told me dad died.... my ex has no forgiveness, I hate him until my soul dissappears, and souls never died.... yes, I'm serious about my comment. bye
I saw them last October in Daytona at Destination Daytona and they rocked the place. My pant legs vibrated......no kiddin' it was that loud. I think they're every bit as good.
These guys perform such an amazing show! Especially small ones like this where they pull the crowd into it-whoosh-That was panties flying by to the stage. THE CROWD GOES WILD

Jesse was the lead singer for my cousins band back in the 80's before Jackyl became a band. I use to hang out with him often when I was younger.
It was a different world back then. I miss it…..

This Line Up was bad ass..they are not the same now..
I saw them last October in Daytona at Destination Daytona and they rocked the place. My pant legs vibrated......no kiddin' it was that loud. I think they're every bit as good.
Jesse reminds of a lead singer from the Black Oak Arkansas Jim Dandy in his younger days. To older fans out there what do you think?
Both are good frontmen and have good charisma. Jesse is the better rock singer though
I agree.
That's where Jesse got his influence from
I usually think Ronnie VanZant
David lee roth completely modeled himself after Jim dandy.
These guys perform such an amazing show! Especially small ones like this where they pull the crowd into it-whoosh-That was panties flying by to the stage. THE CROWD GOES WILD
Bad Ass Southern Rock !
