    How did you get data for that cartridge... and new projectiles? Using load software?

    You should load some 230-240gr “warm” loads being the factory loads in 1897 would’ve been the equivalent to a 220gr load.. don’t push over a 270gr load tho. The single locking lug will crack the lip off it.

    first ballistic gel test I have seen where the cavity blew out the top like that! wowwee

      I shot too high on the gel block. The Redfield peep sight on my Krag is set too high which I need to adjust lower.
