    With the work that these folk have done proves to me that they totally understand the 300 Blackout. These bullets make the Blackout worth while to own. I am re-barreling a .223 to Blackout on the strength of this work. Well done guys, Great job.

    Just happened upon this video. Good stuff! I've been purchasing you bullets for reloading and loaded ammo from boutique manufacturers for years in 9mm/45/6.5/300. I didn't know you actually loaded ammunition. I'll certainly check that out!

      would 110grain brass or the 115grain copper be better in 300blk bolt gun with a 16inch barrel?

    • @zekethefishgeek8690
      @zekethefishgeek8690 5 лет назад

      I like the brass for smaller game like coyotes or if I'm shooting people close up... I like the copper for shooting deer or at people at shorter or longer ranges... lol... the brass bullet explodes more violently because, it breaks into smaller pieces, since it's harder material and more brittle. Brass, (copper + tin) breaks/fractures more easily... it does not bend as easily as copper. Brass is a harder material and has a higher number on the Rockwell hardness scale than copper has

    "300blk won't be much good at 300+yds" - guy at the local gunshop

    • @427SuperSnake1
      @427SuperSnake1 3 года назад +1

      He probably said that because most people don’t use 300 with a 16” barrel. Most of the AR guys like myself are shooting it out of a 10.5 in barrel. So your not going to get the performance this video shows with the shorter barrel.

    • @vincec.202

      @@427SuperSnake1 Spot on. I'm interested in what it does out of a 8-12" barrel at 5, 25, and 100 yards.

    Really liked this bullet in brass, but now I love the copper option. I shoot a lot of Lil'gun powder in my 300blk, and the brass seems to be less affected by the heat produced by this powder.

    Like to see this test into gel at 200 yards from a 300 wsm or 300 win mag with the new 152Gr copper.

    I'm building a home defense 9" Blackout Pistol, with the wife and children in the home too this 115 chaos copper is my choice. A missed shot or pass through in a home could mean serious problems in close quarters. Glad to use bullets from a local Lehigh Valley company. I will be testing these out at my range hopefully by Memorial Day.

      Why not just use Close Quarter Ammo for Close Quarters? It is amazing stuff and it will not over penetrate but will drop anything it hits instantly.

    Many folks have a .300 blackout Pistols. How does this round perform out of a 7.5 inch barrel?

    • @lehighdefensellc9886
      @lehighdefensellc9886 6 лет назад +1

      The bullet will expand down to 750 fps so no problem in pistols.

  • @nexgen91

    Where did you guys find that distance to test near Qtown? (don't tell everyone lol) :)

    • @beckrbuy
      @beckrbuy 7 лет назад

      nexgen91 I see train tracks in the background? With a suppressor sneaking in a ew shots out in the woods is doable I guess. I shoot at Easton. Finding longer ranges is a pain.

    Do you really want fragmenting rounds for hunting deer though?

    • @The10thManRules
      @The10thManRules 7 лет назад +1

      Bryce P Given that 300 Blackout is a midrange (at best) round at that weight, and probably not exceeding 2500 fps (more like 2200fps), but will still expand down to 1400 fps, you need a round that will give you DRT effects to reduce an adrenaline dump into the muscle.

    • @zekethefishgeek8690
      @zekethefishgeek8690 5 лет назад +1

      Oh my God.... You have buy some... you will freaking love it. Talk about DRT. I have killed 4 deer and 5 coyotes with it this year from 35 to150 yards & only 1 deer took two stumbling steps forward... ALL the others were DRT, with legs drawn up before hitting the ground. It's like a Barnes X bullet that has a hand grenade inside of it. Makes a little bitty hole going in then drops its hand grenade and goes out the other side leaving a hole about the size of a quarter EVERY single time. It's FREAKIN' awesome. I honestly SWEAR you'll never use another bullet... and so very damn accurate too...

  • @matthewnorris8732

    shoot it at 400 yards with an sbr!!

    • @zekethefishgeek8690
      @zekethefishgeek8690 5 лет назад

      I have. It's still @ over 2000fps from a 10.5" and I wouldn't want to shoot at myself with it at 400 yards away. I would kill me dead in 3 shots or less without practicing at that distance anytime before then...
      It's still not a sure shot... unless you have practiced at that kind of range with it. But this is great stuff. Seriously. Nothing but the truth
