This needs appeal to the commisioner. We can't let umpires start ejecting managers who totally complied with their directives, after remarks made by a spectator.
I mean that's just poor umpiring from the Home Plate. You can't throw Boone out in the first inning for something he didn't do. You gave the warning, he took it, and you kicked him out for something he didnt do. Suspension at least for the umpire
Agreed! I feel like a lot of these umpires lately don’t respect the game the way they used to. Yankees have really been struggling with umpires this season 😬

We have scored in 3 out of 34 innings during this homestand. Our lineup 21-124 (.169) We've been shut out 4 times already. Those are ugly numbers during that span. Ouch. Miller is a beast though.

Judge has been under the mendoza line so far this season now hitting only .174 They said Judge lost 16.5 percent off his hard-hit rate that's 8 mph off his average exit velocity. And Judge has struckout 32 times in less then a month, do you know Ted Williams in 1941 struckout only 26 times all of that year, and what's most incredible is Jo D in 1941 struckout only 13 times that whole season.
Keep trashing judge you know it alls will run SOTO right out of town
1941 is a lot different than 2024, not only are pitchers pitching for strikeouts more often today, Aaron judge is known for striking out a lot.

Just a reminder: Yankees traded away JP Sears for Frankie Montas. Rodon was excellent too, but once again, an Ex Yankee comes back to haunt the team.

This is embarrassing, and they will NEVER admit when they are wrong, or correct a mistake.
Imagine if the Yankees had Shohei Ohtani the modern day Babe Ruth. It would've been a perfect fit (would hit 40 to 50 HRs every year at the short right field and have double digit wins) Right now an ace pitcher is leading the majors in batting average, hits and extra bases.
I agree, I said last year instead of signing Judge save the money to sign Ohtani, the man is a once in a genaration player. Alot of good pitchers are out with injuries right now including Gerrit Cole, but unlike them Ohtani can still bat and is hitting almost .370
@@trevorcarey3997 The problem is there is no guarantee Ohtani would want to play in New York. I wouldn't gamble the future of an entire franchise on the hopes that a specific player will come.
Let's see how Ohtani recovers from his second Tommy John surgery in 6 years before declaring him a once in a generation player. Probably still a better hitter than Judge, but pitchers are so fragile these days that they're likely going to follow the same trajectory as running backs in the NFL.
Judge played the Yankees. His peak year was 2 seasons ago, it's all downhill from here. He's a huge dude who will be tough to keep healthy and the Yankees are stuck with Staton 2.0

Tweak the batting order: Soto should be hitting behind Judge so judge can see better pitches
if soto hits behind judge the line up will be worse than now....The most important reason soto bat ahead of judge is because of the sheer number of walks soto gets....So its practically 60% time judge gets a runner which is why judge hits behind soto.....
Its exactly why ohtani bats ahead of freeman.....Ohtani has higher obp than freeman in general...Judge should try to hit situational batting...Otherwise he can also take 1 strike approach....It works wonder because it simplify so many things....

Judge should run hard to first EVERY time. Even if you're out it shows good leadership. You only have to run hard 3-4 times most games.
Can't expect someone who isn't a leader to do what leaders would.
They don't run hard all the time cuz there's no point in risking an injury

It's time for Robo umpires just to call balls and strikes accurately (they can still stand at the plate to call safe or out). The umpires all have different strike zone and confusing the hitter's.
Zack Gelof was swinging the Bat good today and was the most active hitter for the A's today. JP Sears, played fantastic today and was able to keep the Yanks stars from getting they feet wet, once JP Sears got took out the game, Lucas Erceg and Mason Miller came in the game in closed it.⚾

Can we stop pretending that there isn't an absolute crisis in Yankees' offense? After finishing 27th last year, they've just gotten their FIFTH shut-out, and now the mainstays of last year, Judge and Torres, are both having absolutely terrible starts. Why can't the Yankees hire a professional hitting coach and a professional medical staff?

Another loss by the Yankees in which Carlos Radon pitched a great game only to loss to A’s a last place team. The other tough lost by the Yankees was by Nector Cortes getting 9 strikeouts against Rays only to loss that game, because of lack of runs support from Yankees sounds like part 2023.
That Oakland pitcher who closed the game out was throwing some heat, my goodness
That genuinely has to be one of tbe worst calls on a home run ive ever seen by a commentator, not even including the fact that it was to score the first runs in the game in the 9th inning 😂 As fans already have to suffer theough watching their team play and they have to listen to these commentators?
