I love that the Yankees are paying Cole all the money and the Astros are doing just fine without him. It's really simple. One player/pitcher does not win the game. It still takes the entire team to win. This is why the Astros win, they've figured out the entire team concept on winning.

Has any other team struck out more times in the first three games of an ALCS series than the ‘22 Yankees? Don’t know the answer but, if it is no, I wouldn’t be surprised. This game was over in the first inning really. It really is a bad omen when two of your better players drop an easy fly ball.

Gerrit Cole isn’t worth his pay, since he couldn’t win a critical game 3. Fire 🔥 Cashman if the Yankees get eliminated today. In order for Yankees to beat the Astros, they need to get two more great starting pitchers. The Yankees need to get two left handed hitters, get a great closer- get rid of Chapman and don’t pay Aaron Judge the big contract. Great starting pitching, great clutching hitting and good defense win championship. The Yankees don’t have those attributes, that’s why they haven’t won a championship since 2009

Astros have had the Yanks number for a few years now, but to lose with no fight what so ever is beyond embarrassing. We saw what getting rid of Giradi did for the Phillis. If the Yanks don't get rid of Boone they deserve the torture of a storied franchise being reduced to a laughing stock.
If the Astros never cheated in 2017 the Yankees would go to the world series. The astros were the only ones using buzzers and beepers. Firing Girardi was the worst thing the Yankees could've done, even worse, keeping Brian Cashman. However, that's all in the past. So rn, yes, firing Boone, Cashman, and the Yankees big three (Judge, Stanton and Cole) should not be returning next season. They need to blow this foundation up like the Giants just did. They only kept a few young prospect and that's what the Yankees need to do. Start over, maybe they'll win in 2-3 years but unless they can come back from a 0-3 it's over for awhile. I'm tired of seeing Boone and Cashman saying they didn't have enough, every fucking year it's a new excuse. They're chasing their tails and every Yankee fan is getting bored and most importantly, bitter. These players, in the right hands could've been a dynasty with three championships in 5 years, instead it's bust after bust with the lamest excuses. It was over when Cashman traded Montgomery for Bader. Cashman has got to go. Now you have an over abundance of outfielders and a weakened starting staff.
