I mix cream cheese , cottage cheese, sour cream , stevia and cut up some strawberries for a snack. Plenty of protein , low carb , satisfying.
Thank you low carb love for consistency and continual inspiration.

Cottage cheese has carbs. Sure it’s low but if you want a really easy carb free chip, get Trader Joe’s Havarti cheese slices. 7g fat, 0g carbs, and their everything bagel seasoning. Preheat iven to 350f. Cut cheese into tiny triangles (they expand), around 8 triangles per slice, and place on parchment paper. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on each one. Put them in the oven for 3-5 minutes until they’re all melted, remove and place them on a cooling rack for a few minutes and they are super crunchy and delicious. 2 slices of cheese makes 16 chips. Combine that with some 0 cal pickles and you can munch away without the guilt.

    Nice.
You can also put a big dollop into the skillet and then when one side is done, take it out onto a cutting board, preferably wooden for less stick, and cut the circle into whatever size and shapes. Then put the pieces back into the skillet and finish.

So glad to hear from someone who didn't particularly like cottage cheese before this. I've been procrastinating over making some of these but finally bought some cottage cheese this week. I also bought a few other cheeses to experiment with too. I've tried making super thin zucchini crisps in the oven but they always seem to stick to the pan. I'm going to give the frying pan a go instead. I'm not too happy with all the keto recipes I've tried for bread replacements or crisps so I hope these turn out to be something I WANT to eat. Wouldn't that be good?

If you drain your cottage cheese it will work even it's not freshly opened! Thanks for the recipe Mayra I will try to make it in the frying pan too!👍😘

I made them in the microwave which I have done twice now. I did not use Trader Joe's. I used Good Culture Simply Whole Milk Classic Cottage Cheese. That did work pretty well. I did have to microwave them for quite a bit of time, but it did work. They were good and definitely a good substitute for regular potato chips. Fooled me. I would be curious to try Trader Joe's since that is what most folks say works best.

I need to try the microwave version! I’m sure the taste is very similar. I think the reason why people recommend a Trader Joe’s brand is because it’s the cottage cheese that worked best for them but if the cottage cheese you used worked, even better!👏

I ended up using rest of the egg white foam to make 1 big 'wrap', it wasn't crispy like the 'chip'. Filled with diced chicken/onion/celery and red pepper. It was much tastier this way. I might try these again but use the parmasan. **How odd lol. Thought I was commenting on the egg white chips video I was watching.

I don't like cottage cheese and I made these in the microwave and they were yummy! Hubby ate them too.

@@mimi-422 The first batch took just over 6 min @ 6% power, but each batch after that took less time. I am guessing it was because the glass plate was hot. Just watch them and stop it when they have turned to the brownish color.

@@donnas2375 60%. Mine has power levels based on 1-9, so 6 would be 60%.

I wonder if cooking them helps to reduce the casein/whey and make them more tolerable for dairy intolerant?
