My friend has it in burgundy and she absolutely loves it! The craftsmanship is superb and I love the shape too! My only reservation is that it is a heavier bag. I tend to carry quite a bit with me so it might be too heavy for my personal liking. But overall, totally gorgeous and functional bag! Thanks for the honest review!

Hi Minnie, thanks for the superb review on this Polene, numero Sept. I now own two Polene bags, number one and number one nano. You fault !!!! LOL now I'm hooked into this brand. The quality is by far better than many of my LV bags, and you're right the leather smell so good. I think, I'm addicted to that smell :) sometime I just want to use Polene bags for just sniffing the bags LOL. Anyway, this is a great review for Numéro Sept, and my third Polene bag, Numéro Sept in grained leather, is on the way!!!!!! Can't wait to smell a new Polene LOL.

Thank you for much this detailed review. I'm strongly considering this bag either in this size or the mini. This was extremely helpful. I didn't realize all the extra details like the top handle being removable and the ring on the inside. I can see the top handle being an option to add to some other small bags that I have as well.
Love that this bag has 4 different ajustments really nice bag.

Totally agree about handbag weight. If I see a bag I’m interested in, when I pick it up, that’s the game changer! No matter how much I might love the look of a bag, if the weight is too much, ( and I do consider weight I will add) I will walk on.

This is a beautiful bag, it seems like a more stress free version of the Chloe Faye bag and definitely an alternative for it.
Feel in love with the nemero un after seeing it online last night and it was a no brainer so I purchased the black mock croc. If it's better in person than on your review and the others I watched I want it in the yellow and camel too!!!!

Great review!! Thanks so much for another excellent video. Beautiful bag! Couple questions for you - can you also fit a pair of sunnies in there in addition to what you’ve shown? Also, which bag can hold more- this one or the numero un mini (I have a mini and I find it a tad small)?
I have been appreciating lower end brands lately. Their craftsmanship is nowhere less than luxury brands, if not better! Designs are very practical too for realistic day to day activities..
Also, when so many ppl flock to buy Chanel classic flaps for example, not only are they expensive but you will clash with easily 5 ppl on the street. I really hate that feeling 😒

One small request. Is it possible to do live mod shots? Sometimes seeing the bag in motion on a moving body shows the proportions better than a still shot that is so contingent on angles etc. Thanks for considering!
I have Polene's numero un and love it. I have been debating about the numero sept but I wish the long strap was detachable.
I loooove the look of this bag. I am so glad the top handle is not rigid as I don’t like the look of wearing cross-body bags with their top handles rigidly standing up. The one area that concerns me is the fact that the bag sits on those outer sides (similar to chanel boy bag). Overtime what I’ve seen is that the weight of the bag makes those go wonky. Yes, it is our faults for putting everything and the kitchen sink in our bags, but sometimes it can’t be helped. Just my 2cents. Keep at it, you beautiful sweet thing. Love you and your energy❣️.

I absolutely love these bags! I’ve been hesitant to buy just yet I love the Red #1 but haven’t seen it on the website and just not sure which color I’d choose in that line… the mini I love as well . And of course some of the other lines… I may take that leap and get one in the next few months tho.. decisions decisions 😂😂😂the struggle of bringing a handbag addict ❤😂❤

I never thought I would be looking at this bag for possible purchase; however, after seeing this, it is a consideration. What will surprise you, is I am relooking at Coach - some of there lines are beautiful and I still, after 30 years, have some original leather bags from Coach that are irreplaceable and look stunning - some better than my LV vintage bags....my best, DJ

I have been considering this bag since it came out. Thank you so much for the great review! What do you think about some of the new Furla bags? Have you seen the Furla 1927 Shoulder bag? It reminds me of the Celine box bag, but for a much better price.
That's a beautiful bag!!! I just wished they would've used gold plated brass for the hardware. That's one reason why I'm so drawn to vintage Coach, you will NEVER see silver through the gold matter what happens to the hardware. But THIS is a stunning bag 😍

Do you recommend this bag as an everyday bag which can be used day to night?
I have the Numero Un and while I like it, the color Gris is very pale and more like grey/beige and I don’t use it odten. So the Numero Sept just showed up in grained leather yesterday in more colors. Yay. You have sold me on this style. What am wondering is if an 8” long wallet will fit in. I don’t use many smaller size SLGs. Thanks. Love your channel.

The big strap should be removable so that you could use the bag for going out st night.
I’m thinking since the strap threads through the flap you should be able to undo the buckles and pull the strap pieces inside the bag so they are at least out of sight.
I like their SLG, but not crazy about the bags. I think it's because it appears too structured for my taste. Love their quality.

A major drawback on that bag is the cross body strap is not removable I don’t wanna carry it as a top handle with that long strap dangling.
Great price point and a very nice looking bag does it stick out the same way an Alma does with a wider bottom. Would you be concerned with corner wear eventually like the boy bag?
Leslie Craven It sticks out a bit when used crossbody but not as much as I would’ve thought because of the wider bottom. ☺️ It does have a thicker varnish along the edges which makes me feel more comfortable about the wear but I’m definitely keeping an eye out (structured bags are pretty unforgiving) and I’ll keep you Loves posted.💕😍

Thank you for this video. I've been eyeing on No.7 series ever since they launched. So gorgeous. I finally got a wallet with black smooth leather. My bad, I put it in my bag with keys, so it ended up getting scratches. So heart broken. Did you noticed that Polene just launched No.7 and mini with textured leather? And price is lower than the smooth one. I'm now thinking of getting one, just difficult to decide colors.😄
Qizhi Chen I recently purchased the Polene numero un in the nano which comes in the textures leather. I have to say I don’t really like it. Somehow feels less luxurious than even the original leather on the the numerous un or mini. I too have been eyeing the sept. So hard to choose!

Minks4All No worries. Thanks for letting me know. I’ve been between the nano and mini. They have great prices and I’ve been learning how little exposure the owners get/have and I like that. They are very quiet but yet passionate about 100% owning and making decisions about their product. The fact that so many French woman (I’m told) have the bag and there is very little advertisement speaks volumes in my opinion.
Which one you recommend, this one or the number 1 nano?

It would be the number one mini for sure except that I’m worried that the chain will be uncomfortable after a long day. This one is a beauty as well. I do wish there was a zippered compartment in it though. That is where my lip balm lives amd I am obsessed with lip balm so need it convenient. Can we see the inside of the burgundy bag please if it’s a different color? This bag silhouette reminds me a bit of my pochette metis so I would get the burgundy for sure since my PM is black. I wish that the mini had a leather part on the top for when it’s carried crossbody. I think that would make it sooo much more comfortable. Maybe you could relay that request to them? 😉 I would’ve bought it already if it had had that leather piece so it didn’t dig in.
