Thanks for the review. The styles are so pretty but I never liked the fact that to keep the beautiful shape you have to fumble with the closure and keep the snaps closed which seems reduces the opening of the bag making it too cumbersome to use.

They do introduce new colors from time to time so if you don’t find the exact shade you’re looking for, maybe wait a few months and see if they come out with new ones!

Funny that i never thought of the vertical bag pulling the weight down. This makes total sense why I find some of my bags uncomfortable to carry. They're all vertical!
Great detailed review :) One question - does the chain dig into your arm much if the bag is stuffed? Is it comfortable to wear? Cause the chain doesn't have the leather part as most bags nowadays...
This is a great review. I ordered some bags from Polène, they look amazing, better than a lot of designer brands, but unfortunately the colours on the website are not that acurated, and I had to send the bags back, what is not cheap. But I still have hope to get the right bag in the right colour. 😊

@@hellocatwalkcity I ordered the number One Mini on chalk and one in grey, plus the number Nine in taupe... all of them really beautiful. The chalk one was the prettiest one, I would definetly buy someday. But the chalk is like a "grey white" and I needed a white bag. The grey is more like a "darker taupe" than the brand taupe colour itself. 😅

i think i want the mini size for the numero un however i'd prefer the leather strap over the chain. do you know whether there is an option where i can choose strap instead of chain?
I had this bag. Loved the leather, and quality. It’s amazing! But that chain strap was a killer on my shoulder. And I’m 5’10, so I’m not a tiny girl. I also had the Number one. That, I just found impracticable. It was a pain in the butt while opening and closing while shopping. So I’m sad to say I sold them both. I still have the Number nine. I do feel the top handle is a bit in the way, while trying to get in and out of this bag, but it’s not as annoying as the Number one, and the Number one mini. Hopefully I’ll find one that’s very functional. The leather, craftsmanship on these bags are amazing!
I just love all your videos! The only thing I would take a different approach on is, when talking about quality and craftsmanship, I would go deeper into the specs. For example, I agree with the great value for money from Polene, but there leather is a very thin coat of leather on top of a smoochy material, so actual there is a lot less leather and it can get damaged more easily. This will also have an impact on how the bag ages. I find most people just judge on how something looks (stitching, grain,…) but it’s also important to think about how the bag is made: how is the leather tanned, is the leather a thin coat or a full leather, is it glued or pressed,… Not saying this as criticism, but I would love to see more approaches like this 😃

I completely agree - a leather break would make this so much more wearable! The chain is not as comfortable. I’ve never seen Polene go on sale actually and unfortunately they did not offer me a promo code to share with my viewers. I wish.

Is chalk a limited edition color? I can’t seem to find it in the website.
Love the versatility of the bag, but can't wear chain straps as well... personally need padding. Plus don't live bucket bags of the opening

No I didn’t, but to be fair, I didn’t it wear it all that much and I never wear my light colored bags with dark or new denims. Hope this helps!
