Unknowingly bought a g19 with an 8lb connector... after shooting a few hundred rounds I knew I had to swap it back to a 5.5. This video made that process quick and painless. Thank you!
Your instructions were PERFECT. They were easy to follow each step clearly. Not only did I install the Ghost 3.5 trigger, but I also installed the extended controls kit while I was at it. Thanks again!!
did my glock 30S with this trigger and the 4lb firing pin spring and it’s a crazy difference, almost scary difference but i can’t wait to shoot it, thank you for the clear instructions
I did my Glock 26 with this connector. What a huge difference in pistol's accuracy. I bought the Wolf version and installed it in the Glock 35, and the Ghost is smoother, slightly. Great video. Thanks.
I got the wild one when I ordered my barrel when you put it in did it make the slide have a rough spot when you move it say quarter inch from battery. Because mine has this weird hang up spot with the slide now
Thanks for the good walk through, mine went smoothly and now my Gen 3 G17 trigger is 5.5 lbs instead of 7. Smooth too. 100 rounds down range today to test it, flawless. The First out, first in pin worked perfectly. Subscribed!
This Guy ROCKS! Thank you for this video. I followed it step by step and swapped out my 5.5 lb. bar for a 3.5 lb. bar. I really like how this guy gets right to the point. Bing, Bang Boom! Donne!
Great video dude. It's been a while since I took a Glock apart. One little thing that might help everybody. You don't need the flathead screwdriver, because the hole in the back of the ejector housing (where the disconnector slides into) is round in the middle to fit your Glock tool.
Not only that, you dont need to remove the front pins to install the aftermarket 3.5 lb connector, only the rear pin (on the handle) then it will pull up and you can replace the OEM connector..the quick installation way..
very helpful video did the install with no issues thanks for the tip on moving the slide release up and down for adjustment to make the pin go in with ease
Good instructions there's an easier way to do it without taking out the whole trigger mechanism all you do is take out the back pain lift replace and slip back in I done my friends Glock and my glock that way I install it in less than a minute
Nice video. I used this to actually install a apex Glock trigger kit with disconnect. Your step by step guide was more helpful than the Apex install vid IMO. Thanks!
You all prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost my password. I love any tips you can offer me!
@Torin Huxley thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I have that exact connector and I will use it one day, when shooting double fire becomes legal. No matter what Glock I put this in, it fires twice every time.
I just did my Glock 19 using the Ghost 3.5. I did not notice much of a difference in the trigger pull. I will test fire the gun tomorrow to see how it does. Your video is excellent. Very detailed and easy to follow. Thanks for posting it.
Great instruction! I first tried a cheater method on another guy's video that only removes the grip pin--grrrr! So hard to install that way--I almost started to scar parts forcing them back in. I then followed yours which I originally avoided as it looked like more work. Yours ended up being faster and far easier!!
I bought a Glock 31 c on which I intend to replace the trigger connector, so a BIG thank you for this video. One question though should I polish the new trigger connector a bit or leave as is ? Thanks for your advice. Best regards
You don't need the flat head scewdriver. Look closely at the slot you stuck the flathead in to push out the connector. There's a 3/32 hole drilled thru the middle of the slot. Exactly the size of the Glock take down tool. Just punch it out with the Glock takedown tool. And, just fyi, 2 other things you need to start doing. 1. Pry up the locking block before you remove the slide release. You can get the spring hung up inside the locking block and bend it the way you're doing it. 2. Punch all 3 pins out from left to right, the way you did here. But reinsert them from the other side.
It would be great if Glock just polished the connector bars at the factory :(. And also included night sights.....And ergonomic grips....Why did I buy a Glock again?
Thank you for this video! I'm a complete noob and doing this for my first time on my G19 Gen4 I was able to installed my Ghost trigger connector in less than 15 minutes. BTW I didnt need to use a small screwdriver for popping out the trigger connector bar, I was able to use the glock tool for everything. At least on my gun there was a small half circle opening in the slot, perfectly designed to fit the glock tool through to pop out the trigger connector!
Your video helped me out dramatically!! I couldn’t figure out how to align the trigger housing and align it back into the frame. Thanks for the video##
thank you for your video 👍 what is the job of that part (trigger connector) please ? no need to change the spring for a lighter spring ? how to get a lighter trigger ? and what is or are the differences between both ? thanks
You are very thorough and explain things clearly. As I’ve been putting the 940c together I’ve been looking at a shit load of videos to figure out every step and I’ve gone thru the parts that came with and decided to change out many of the pieces and this was one and I chose the Ghost Lady 3.5 pound but it doesn’t have the holes and I did want them but I didn’t realize it was self cleaning, I also ordered and installed the ejector pin to the 30274, waiting on the extended slide release, the extended mag release and was debating on putting the extended slide lock but not sure if I need to or not but thinking I should because I have problems with my hands. I’m also waiting on the stainless steel guide rod. I got the 18 pound spring because I wasn’t sure if the other weight spring was better or not so I went with the standard. How does those choices sound? Do you think I made a good decision on my parts? And may I ask what your thoughts are about the trigger that comes with that parts kit? I’m trying to make this into a great piece that can be relied on with a light trigger pull and reset. I appreciate all your videos and help.
Ghost Bullet Extended Slide Stop Release for 3 PIN , Ghost LADY 3.5 High Polished Trigger Connector, Ghost LADY 3.5 High Polished Trigger Connector & OC Custom Polished Gen 4 Ejector (OEM equivalent to Glock # 30274 ejector)…. These are the parts I got. So far. I’m debating on the extended slide lock. Should I get that while I’m waiting on these parts to arrive?
I got the new Angle and it didnt drop the weight . I have already done a lot of work on my Glock 17. My 17 went from a nice smooth trigger to rough after installing the angle 3.o .plus it didnt lower the weight hardly at all . I look it out and got my nice smooth trigger back again . Not worth the 36.00 I paid for it locally or even 5.00 imo.
RED_BEARD_GIANT still working great! No issues so far after 1000 rounds and no cleaning done on the trigger connector. I’ve cleaned my glock like the barrel, frame and other parts but not the trigger connector.
Awesome video, everything went smoothly like in the video step by step! I installed the 3.5lb connector on my g23, I must say I didn’t notice that much of a difference between that and my 19 with factory connector. Idk if I actually have to shoot it I just dry fired both. Anyone else feel the same?
I didnt notice any improvement myself. The pull weight was reduced by a half pound according to my trigger pull scale but now I have a long mushy trigger break. I like the stock connector way better. Oh well was worth a shot
What are your thoughts on changing to a lighter connector for a concealed carry weapon should you ever have to use it and a case goes to court? Or has that argument been shot down? Also great video showing how to do this
As an update, the G19 and G43 Gen5 models only have two pins. My G19 has ambi slide lock levers that are actually one piece. The G43 has the same slide lock assembly as shown on the video. The spring configuration is different as well.
Video failed to address 'bend' of the connector issue, and proper insertion of the foot of the connector. These issues are addressed in the online 'Connector Installation Instructions' by Ghost, Inc. but it's all but impossible to comfortably read them due to an overly large page display on their website. I've contacted them about this annoying problem, which have made those instructions all but worthless to me..
I installed this seemingly with no problems on my polymer 80 g19 but when I put the slide back on, the trigger wont actuate. The slide gets stuck. I ended up having to remove the back plate and striker to get the slide off. I don't know what is wrong. It worked perfectly before I put the ghost avenger connector in.
Its better to take it completely out like he does BC getting the trigger bar back on is bad BC ur bending and putting pressure on the bar when u shouldn't and don't have to
Awesome channel, new subscriber.. So sad I found you as we are running out of time on this platform since youtube is killing all the gun channels. But thank you for your channel, will be watching all your previous videos.
Thanks for the video. I put the 3.5 in when I bought the Glock now going for my ccw and the pistol must be in stock form here in the peoples socialist republic of Kaliforniastan. Thank God I live in a free county far far away from cities and liberal counties.

@sagenbabin8786 My Glock 35 does now too, but not the 26.
@@2002MX5 does it work well I like mine
@@sagenbabin8786 It works ok, but it really shouldn't do that. It's never jammed.

Every time I've tried to use the ghost connector no matter what I try it will always fire on the reset. Wen't back to stock and no problems.
Awesome video, just watching more videos like this to get more knowledge about my glock, and I am now going to purchase a Trigger Connector !

awesome video I will be installing my ghost connector tonight thanks to your video!
What makes a bigger difference in trigger pull the connector or the firing pen spring? Thank you!
Best install video ever! Thanks
Super helpful video however if u have a gen 4 glock be aware that some of the connectors will not fit right.
Great teaching! The tips made the swap very fast.

Who’s glock is stock at 5.5 pounds? Did I not listen carefully enough? Was there upgrades prior to this video?
My G30s, not fired to date, has a trigger measured with cheap trigger gauge between 7-8 pounds
Just did this.. hope I did it right lol guess we’ll find out later today when I go to the range 🤷♂️

Thanks for the video. Helped, too bad I don't feel a difference with my wilson combat connector.

You don't have to pull the trigger out? Why did you do All that extra work?
Tyler Wade extra work? Wow I bet he was exhausted when he finished 😂
Probably for more clear illustration purposes
Im sorry...did you say "tactical tape" ..
How is that supposed to be self cleaning? That’s as believable as the ar15 being self cleaning, and we all know how that went.
Tactical tape 😂
Tactical tape 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
tactical tape.... lol

“You will need the Glock”. Really ?
