Who doesn’t love a sauna?! I hope you enjoy this video as much as we did making it 💪🔥
How does the roof look? Is it sealed with silicone or updated in anyway?
@@shekharmoona544 yeah siliconed outside and inside on the seam. There were many bottles of silicone used to make this water tight 😂
Is there anything you can't do? Impressive Tom.
planche 🥲
Or fixing the garage door
Wow, I just can't believe the amount of work that went into it. Well done, and the end result is just amazing. Cannot wait following your Scottish adventures with the upcoming videos!
Yes about air flow and that had me worried before you undid the interior boards. I'm a gymnast turned construction worker and been following Tom for some time. And then to see this build made me smile. I only wish I were there to have helped you.
People like you are rare. Keep up on your videos, it’s a tiny relief we have watching, specially us who suffers day by day narcissistic abuse. A few minutes away from our shitty reality. Please remember and make sure the last day of your precious puppy will be at your side over your heart, the dream I couldn’t afford for Sophia’s last day of life. All the best for you guys!
I approve of this (as a finnish person). There's just something so deeply satisfying in taking a sauna and dipping in a cool lake in the middle of the forest that can't be described with words.
100%, cannot agree more
Agreed gents. I never gave thought to doing this, and now after seeing this, it just makes so much sense.
Good work and a Finnish Harvia kiuas (stove) also guarantees good steam. (löyly in Finnish) The most important thing is good ventilation also during the sauna bath. Replacement air for the stove under the door and directly on the stones. There must also be a valve under the boards. Greetings from Finland!
You see a sauna, I see an office, bedroom and studio 😂. I daily vlogged the whole Sauna Trip so you could join us too! They start releasing tomorrow, link in description!
Can't wait for these!
Always good to see you Tom! Love this series of you building things. 💪🏾🙌🏾👏🏾🕺🏽😊💜
I finally got a chance to watch the video to this awesome build, and I loved watching ever minute of it.💯👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Looks great. We call these ”saunavaunu” in 🇫🇮. Next summer you need to tow your sauna to 🇫🇮 and try one or two of our 180k lakes.
100%, it's on the plans
This is amazing, can't wait for the next episodes!
We recently got a hot tub in the back garden and after all my workouts (in my garage gym) I do contrast therapy switching between the hot tub and the cold hose pipe. Always wanted a sauna though and after watching this, I am considering doing something similar. Hope you enjoy your adventures, Tom!
Well done, looks like a proper sauna! Wishing you the best of luck on your sauna adventures from Finland 🎉
This was so good to see!! Amazing job guys 🙌 impressive! Enjoy it now 🙏
Absolutely loved this chaps (and thanks for the shout out) - such a beauty
Loving the lifestyle content. Keep it up Tom
Great job guys, I love it.
The effort that went into this is spectacular 👏 Thoroughly enjoyed and even left feeling a bit inspired for some DIY.
Damn, this is awesome! Happy birthday Tom! :D
Awesome!!
Amazingly made
Man soooo sick 🔥shout out to u guys, great job!
Just found your channel and just watched this whole video, great job! Your guys are very entertaining!
A nice little weekend project, I'm sure it'll get done quick and under budget
Flipping amazing idea. Epic
The two of you together are so entertaining to watch 😂
This is so inspiring, you are amazing!
Great video! Wow!
Well done
watching you paint over that beautiful colour with black pained me immensely
editing is top notch! great video
Thanks ☺
i was in doubt about this video cause honestly I've never been interest in this stuff, but the storytelling and the quality of the video it's just another level. Well done mate.
Beautiful work guys. I use a propane heater, no need for wood...
Very good job bros!👏💪💞
This video is epic
Beautiful Man!
This video was so interesting
About to build a sauna in the back garden so this is 🪙
i gonna build one too, thanks i have got the horse box and just aboout to start my one
I wish i had a personal sauna on wheels like this, enjoyed it man
Idk why this was so fun to watch but I loved it haha
Somebody's been watching YBS Youngbloods! ;-)
Loved the video!
That's amazing and inspiring Tom. Great video. Not sure if you answered it but what are the dimensions of the trailer?
As a Finn, I approve of this! Waiting for an invitation to come try it! 😄
Awesome job man . Did you use cedar or pine? I want to do something very similar here in australia
Wow! Looks amazing guys. What floor vinyl have you used guys? Could you send the link? Thanks❤️
Awesome video and project. Can u link the stove pls?
This whole video was awesome. Great story telling. Actually saw an episode of ''Somebody Feed Phil'' where a Finn had a sauna on a boat lol. Love the idea of a mobile sauna. Definite life goals !
When I read the title I was ''will the horse like it?''
🙃
I love it! I've seen many sauna-trailer here in Finland, but this one is awesome! You did a very good job! But, is there a drain hole somewhere on the floor? Or is the floor on an angle for the water to get out under the door?
We did speak about this and decided against it as it is almost impossible to a predicable fall for the water to flow the right way as the sauna can be parked anywhere. Instead, we just mop up out the door
Very fun vid to watch. Questions: why the stone on the floor? Was the paneling t&g? Bottom up install let’s you blind nail fyi. How confident are you on the glass door surviving overland driving?
Спасибо за видео
great video - did I hear you got advice from Tom at Saunabox? what is the model of the harvia ?? TIA
Tom Merrick for the next Bond!
Super cool! What was your cost to build this? What would you do differently if you did the build again?
The axe made all the difference 😂 Well done both of you, super funny video :)
Did I see you driving it along the M25 / M40 this weekend?
Even Emet came through...... Great Content Tom
Have you wrote about this anywhere? Would love to know the total cost and some of the tips and tricks, like where to get the window and door
Thanks for sharing, nice to see the behind the scenes of the build
How much did it cost to build? Awesome job!
I am sure I saw this along Elie beach a few weeks ago.
Can you link the window used?
Удачи вам
Hello - I am converting a horse box to sauna now. How did you secure the wood 2x4 framing to the steel frame of the horse box? What type of screws and how long?
Congrats. What a lovely bitta work 🔥 🙌 How do I join Sandal gang? Where can one acquire such noble foot cradles?! 🩴
😂 Teva gang. They’re actually a pretty versatile shoe
I reckon just the video editing alone was more work than the build! Well done, lads.
It was 😅 Thanks!
Did I see you post this on Reddit? I could swear I just saw a post about this on Reddit today
It was briefly launched and then retracted earlier. For some reason RUclips glitched and never processed past 360p. This is now fixed, but it was too large an upload to correct and re-release same day.
Good morning guys. I am in the process of converting an Ifor Williams HB505. Could you please tell me what foil you used and where to buy it. Oh and any really useful tips. Many thanks and the video was helpful.
Foil vapour membrane. We got ours from Sauna timber in the UK
Link to sauna door?
Does anyone know what breed Molly is? I think something like a cocker spaniel mix?
What's the purpose of the fibre glass added to the lower walls? 🧐
There metal was torn from horses kicking on the walls. Patching it up with fibreglass was the easiest way to stop water getting in + preventing rust.
How much did this cost in total??
Brill video, you must be so chuffed with the result! Out of interest whats the max amount people have you managed to sit in this one?
You two are so much fun and I love the amazing build but wish I could double thumbs up for the coffee porn (and adorable Molly!) 🤣
Hey Tom, what was the total cost of this build, including the trailer and all the materials?
Around 3.5-4k all in all
@@BodyweightWarrior Thanks for replying! Looking to do a similar project 😁.How much was the trailer ?
The title of the advert RUclips picked for this is video. Is “why stretching doesn’t work” 😅😂
Oh dear 🤦♂️
Здравствуйте
I just want the dog
:) noice
Yeah cool but how is this guy so tanned? 😂
your so handsome and handy
As cool as this looks, it is quite dangerous as the wood on the walls look like being treated and inhaling such fumes might not be the best idea. There is a reason the fins use specific wood like spruce.
It’s all kiln dried and fine. It was checked with a fin, as mentioned in the video
This is horribly inefficient, which is a bigger issue as energy prices increases.
Get two 250 W red heat lamps and build a small "fort" where you sit on a foot stool. 4 walls covered by a blanket works well. Even 3 walls where the blanket covers the opening with the heat lamp pointed at your mid section.
Clamp two blankets together if you want your head outside of the heated area.
Dirt cheap to set up, and way less expensive to use.
I think Finland may disagree with this 😂 wood fired saunas aren’t really affected by your point
Where do you plug it in at a campground?
@@jasonbradley8613 A charged 1kW hour 12 volt battery with an inverter... solar charged.
@@BodyweightWarrior They are still less efficient, but if one wants the product that fire powered saunas produce, then you are correct. 2 x 250 W bulbs can easily be energized with solar energy powered batteries and can produce an excellent sauna experience -- even if not the same as some cultures normalized.
It is absolutely more efficient and very effective, but maybe a square experience when a circular experience is desired. That point is made and taken.
