Thank you for this information. I have the 7th edition and the chart is slightly different than the 6th edition however, it has the same content especially over active and under active muscles. The chart he is speaking about is in Chapter 12 page 382 basically study the whole chapter 12. 😊
thank you 🙌🙌
@@evac8557 you welcome
@@angelajessena4498 hello, does the 7th edition feature anything new than the 6th?
@@attritionwarrior hello! I think a few things not nothing drastic. If you go to their RUclips channel they have several videos on CPT7 ,program to compare
@Angela Jessena what page in the 7th edition book is the chart on? It's not on page 382 in the 7th edition book.
WOW This video is so helpful. Helped me pass the NASM exam in 7 days. Unreal
Omg! Thank you so much! I knew there had to be a better way!!!!! I’m on chapter 15 now and reading every word is making me feel like I’ll never be done!
I got to 12 and couldn't decipher what was most important. This really summed it up. That's all NASM had to say! LOL

This is lit. Dude knows what he’s talking about
Thanks bro❤️
I just turned 16 are there any high school classes you recommend that might help me if I take the test when I get my high school degree
Health, wellness, anatomy, and physiology are all good. If you happen to have a kinesiology course that’d be great too.
Thanks for sharing!🙏🏾 🙂👌🏾
Hey Jantello, We'd like to interview you about passing the NASM!
Hey, let's connect! I decided to take the NASM exam again, and I posted another video about it here: Hey, let's connect! I posted this comment more than a year and a half after this video was posted... Thank you for your guide...
I think I will receive the 7th edition of the NASM textbook when it comes in the mail (I just signed up for the NASM self-study CPT course). Other people with the 7th edition said it is the same information. I don't know if the page numbers have changed.
The PAGE 196 link you provided is dead.
@Jantonello, how far are you in your CPT career?
Did you watch all of the lecture videos for every module before taking any quizzes? Or did you watch mod 1 lecture vid then take the mod 1 quiz so on so forth?
Hey buddy could I know where I could get the lecture videos you talked about?
very well said chapter 7 and are there a couple more you would recommend?
I have the 7th edition, How do I go about passing it efficiently? I don't wanna read the whole textbook.
Find the pages in 7th edition textbook that correspond with the content in my video. Also purchase some practices tests and drill those. Good luck friend!
It's not page 196 for me. I'm on the 7th edition book
Hi Milo it’s chapter 12 page 382 the chart is slightly different however has the same content. Also OpT model chapter 21. Good luck. Oh I have the 7th edition 😁
@@angelajessena4498 Thank you very much
@@TheLazyPinecone you welcome!
Which NASM CPT "package" did you pick to study?
Which CPR/AED certification would you recommend or took? There are so many options out there.
I did mine with TRIO Safety. It really doesn't matter which one you get, but I'd go with the cheapest one that you can get within a day (probably gonna be a 3 hour class with a test at the end). Good luck friend!
I just found one on Google, and it said I could take the test and if I pass I can pay and get the cert... I took the test without reading anything and passed with 70% and then paid 12.99 bucks for the cert 😂
Where are the NASM lecture videos?
Here it is: ruclips.net/video/0d5GBC0av0A/видео.htmlsi=lLnv-5vrBthKZ9AP
Hello. Thanks for the tips! Where can i find these quizzes?
①③③④⑦②①⑤⑦⑨⑤
I have the same question
I got the 7th edition now week 8 and I ain’t did shit I need help
Are the videos the same in the guided study as they are in the self study? I only have the self study.
I believe so. Best of luck Cody!
I don't think that chart is in the 7th edition at least I can't find it 😭
I couldn't either. It's a complete difference look. Page number didn't match up at all.
Issa master trainer
Wow phenomenal vid thanks
Hey is the NASM exam open book ? how does the exam work , do I need my cam on or anything ?
no it is not open book, it is proctored with your cam and microphone on
How much did you do per day to get it done in seven days?
I would wake up in the morning and study for 3-6 hours with 5-10 minute breaks between each hour. And then I would review each night before bed. It came out to 2-3 units per day.
Heyy if I’m planning on taking my test by the end of the year which edition should I study? Also are the videos additional $$ pls help🥺
Yeah, a friend passed on their personal training textbook so I was wondering how can I get access to the videos
The videos are on the nasm online textbook and so are the quizzes
I take mine in July and I am still nervous what kinds of questions I'll be facing since many people say they aren't like the quizzes
I took the test and 2019 and failed by 4 points 🙄. Then I got too busy to do my retest but I take it again next month. Where I messed up at was not knowing page 196 so memorize that for sure. Like he said know the opt model tempos, rest, and etc. His video is spot on but for me I think the study guide has alot of info in it that helps you not really need the book. Another thing I did was watch the videos and looked to see what chapters went with what domain. So when I took the quizzes and felt that I didn't see that info anywhere, I could just revert to the specific chapter.
I want to take my exam at the end of July I’m super nervous!!
Honestly I failed my first test by only 4 points 😒. I literally only used the study guide and took practice test. Where I messed up at was not learning the overactive and underactive muscles. Literally had I known those I would have passed. So make sure you memorize the overactive and underactive muscles. It could literally make or break you.
I take my test again in 2 weeks.
@@shun-mg3pw best of luck!! Rooting for you! Did you have to pay extra?
I have the 7th edition. And I got self study..help meeeeeee
I got you! HMU and we can talk
Thank you! was this for the new 7th edition or 6th?
I was using the 6th edition textbook, but the concepts are exactly the same.
@@justinantonello Thanks! 💪
@Jantonello What is the title of chapter 7 that you mentioned?
