  • Trying to read the 900+ page NASM textbook is not a great way to learn how to become a great personal trainer. And that's because reading isn't a good way for most to learn in the first place!
Instead, the best way to learn anything (including the NASM-CPT material) is to add context to put the material into practice and feel what's going on while thinking it through.
In this video, Coach Joe Drake from the Axiom Fitness Academy shares the 3-step learning process that will teach you how to learn anything better, including your NASM exam material.
The Axiom Fitness Academy helps new and aspiring personal trainers achieve long-lasting and lucrative careers through hands-on training and expert guidance. We’ve partnered with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to provide the best online and hands-on personal training certification exam prep course that will give you the edge you need to succeed as a certified personal trainer in as little as 10 weeks.

Yes thank you! I just recently got my CPT certification and the only issue I have with NASM is the lack of real world application for all the info they give us! Im a visual and hands on learner so just reading from the textbook makes it hard to retain. So glad I found your page to help learn to apply everything I’ve learned!

So… what I learned from this video… “skip class and go to the gym”🤣. Kidding. I completely agree in that so much of what I’ve learned is practicing on myself in addition to my clients. Thank you for great, simple, yet informative videos!!

I appreciate your videos and very grateful to have found your channel. I know it's different from the ISSA's curriculum that I'm currently studying to get the NCCPT exam, but this is more hands on knowledge and very useful for my actual clients and in the outside world. Thank you for creating content like this.
