Good explanation on how it works. I have been having problems with my planetary gear popping out of 4Lo. I imagine it is an adjustment problem and the gear is not engaging all of the way.

I have a 231 d hd that in 4hi and lo it feels like something is stripped out but its fine in 2wd could in be thay shift collar or the chain slipping ?

This looks like a nqh or nqf but a lot of transfer cases use a similar planetary set up just there will be different inputs, range hubs and a different amount of gears in the planet carrier ie 3, 4, 5, and 6 pin.

Hi,When driving In 2H, I feel like the planetary gear Is always spinning, although It Is not engaged. Because When I accelerate I hear some whining and The car struggles to get over 60km/h. Could this be possible?
