That specific mural is to Aleksei Osokin, battalion commander of the 31st ODShBR (31st Air Assault brigade), He died on the 3rd of March 22.
That specific brigade took part in the invasion of Crimea and wore Ukrainian policemen uniforms on the assault of the Crimean parliament, it also fought as disguised Russian troops in the battle of Illovaisk in the Donbas.They later took part in the VDVs disastrous attempt in the battles of Antonov airport and Hostomel, where they lost their brigade commander and battalion commanders (one of them Osokin).
The guy made one of the worst attempts at airborne landings in history and didnt last a fucking week. Nice mural bro

oh well. Britain and France had to defend Poland earlier by their past treaties. It was not a war of aggression. You cannot compare it to an attack on the country that does not attack other countries. I disagree with you on every point. Germany was attacking British allies so that was just the way to defend their own friends. Also, they understood that they will be next at some point anyway. Germany did not stop attacking. Germany started it in every way it is possible. Also, even the WW2 is not justified in any way. It was a stupid war for nothing on one side and the war of survival for another. The side that wanted to survive did not choose it.

Ukraine did not attack any country and was not in a war as an attacker with anyone. Germany was an attacker and other countries fought for survival. У меня отец, работая на стратегическом объекте в Новом Уренгое, в Газпроме, вместо зарплаты приносил жратву от Газпрома, работал, на минуточку, главным инженером на ГП(газовый промысел). Врубаешь ситуацию? 2000-ный год, главный инженер на ГП, которые сейчас рубают бабло под 200-300к, а 13 выплачивается под 1.5-2 ляма, получал вместо зарплаты, кульки с жратвой и талончики, на эту самую жратву. Отец с двумя высшими, с матерью убивались на работе, на крайнем севере, чтобы прокормить 3 детей (меня, старшего брата и младшую сестру). Не говоря о том, что было частым случаем отключение отопления в ноябре месяце, когда на крайнем севере стоит дубак под -40. Сюда ещё добавь вторую чеченскую и наплыв беженцев из Чечни и не просто беженцев, а родственников и детишек боевиков. Пока их папаши бегали по горам, взрывали, устраивали теракты, мы жили с их выкормышами, с которыми в раздевалках на физре приходилось драться, потому что ты крестик носишь, а в моём случае ещё "веселее" было, ибо я татарин крещёный для них как красная тряпка был. Вот мы и дрались чуть ли каждую перемену с ними.
И это только часть, не упоминая приватизацию после банкротства-дефолта 98, как раз когда родители вместо денег, стали получать зарплату жрачкой, а все их сбережения в Сбербанке сгорели и люди, мои родители, скопившие на квартиру, получили отписку и условные 100 рублей, которыми одно место мог себе подтереть. Поэтому да, "дружочек" 00, а тем более 90-ые, были ещё тем пизд...цом и всё, что было после них, для таких как я, кто застал те годы не в центральной России, а на задворках крайнего Севера, просто манна небесная и вспоминая те годы сейчас, просто не вериться, что это было при моей жизни, не говоря уже о том, когда сравниваешь уровень жизни тогда и сейчас.

The only way to vote against the ruling government in Russia is to not vote at all. It's been that way since the Soviet Union when you only had usually had either one candidate or a second candidate that's exactly like the first one. In the USSR, when the Communist Party sees a low voter turnout, they fully replace the sitting official with someone else.
Either vote for one candidate, or another one who is exactly like the first, sounds familiar.
Because when everyone voted for keeping Soviet Union, the higher ups said "Nope, shock therapy time" and shocked everyone in the country.
Then, when Russians wanted to vote in communists again, higher ups and USA made a deal with them so they wouldn't complain at rigged elections. At that point the embryo of democratic Russia just died (funnily enough, with communists in charge it would've died too, prolly).
Then during 2000s elections people already had a little faith in democracy and no one can tell for sure if Putin's victory (which was a close call) was fair. And of course, people don't trust the elections now, even though Putin doesn't really need to rig them anymore - he would win regardless because people don't trust communists anymore, LDPR's guy is dead and quite frankly those are elections without a real choice. Literally Putin, Zyuganov (fake commie) and nobodies. People just don't know who to vote for so they ain't going there and, as a result, Putin has absurd turnouts.

Which means
"Do you consider it necessary to preserve the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics as a *renewed federation of equal sovereign republics* , in which the rights and freedoms of a person of any nationality will be fully guaranteed?".
Basically, this question is without choice: if you vote "yes" (for which 76,1% of people voted) you agree to change system of USSR to the other, which gives much more autonomy to USSR states (they were already demanding more sovereignty, republics started to use their own laws instead of union laws which in the end caused in collapse of USSR, because integration, which was planned by Gorbachev, failed, in this, big role was played by democratic opposition).
If you answer "no" may mean you don't want to save USSR which means collapse.
Talking about elections without choice, surprisingly, there is still opposition of liberals, for example Nadezhdin and Batashev. Yavlinskiy could also participate, but instead he decided to ask for 10 million signatures, which he didn't get. Duntsova, which wasn't allowed to participate in elections because of serious mistakes in documents, wouldn't be normal opposition, cuz she came out of nowhere with her programm, making big PR to stop war and etc. Even Yavlinskiy said he doesn't know her, and when there was conversation about accepting her to participate in elections from Yabloko party, he gave negative answer.
KPRF can be called as serious opposition. Yes, they agree on some questions with Putin, they support SVO, but as every other party (but not ER's puppets) they want to win. Currently from KPRF there was elected Kharitonov instead of Zyuganov. As democratic socialist I agree that he moved away from ideology, but Kharitonov, who came from Siberia, worked in kolhoz and even participated in 2004 elections is follower of socialism and I will vote for him.
There's new thing as voting online on gosuslugi, but I won't do that, cuz it may be rigged. I will vote myself, polling place is next to my home, I will go there and choose candidate I prefer.
You are wrong, because Russia counting only voters that PARTICIPATED. If you not voting at all your vote is just dissappears. And that's why Putin still holds power - if everyone who is against him will go to vote they will easily vote him out of power. Yeah, he WILL do anything, like fraud to win, but he really don't need to do it when no one of his opponents go vote. And you see - many people in video told "I won't go" - it means they are against Putin but don't understand that they just allowing him to hold power with this inaction.

На сегодняшний день политическая оппозиция на Украине полностью уничтожена вплоть до запрета конкретных партий, о прорусской позиции и обещании мира никто не вспоминает, выборы официально не проводятся.
Ну а теперь далее
1. Немцов? Немцов никогда не мог быть конкурентом на выборах так как он никогда даже не пытался стать кандидатом в Президенты России.
2. Навальный крайне одиозная личность даже внутри оппозиции и во многом ответствен за уничтожение "Координационного совета оппозиции". В рамках КСО он еще имел возможность став единым кандидатом от оппозиции показать хоть какой-то результат. Собственно на выборах мэра Москвы он за счёт КСО его и показал, но Москва это мягко говоря не вся Россия. А после развала КСО это даже обсуждать не имеет смысла. О каких выборах Президента России может идти речь если он не находит поддержки даже внутри российской оппозиции?
