- Today we have a very special Argentina Volunteer Roleplay game. On one side, we have TommyKay Technocracy BUT this time we're going completely insane! +108% RESEARCH SPEED!!! The highest i ever had in 8 years of HOI4! On the other side, I also created an unpierceable heavy tank! This is probably the BEST TANK i ever made in a HOI4 MP Game.

nah the point was that whoever got all the volunteer forces first basically wins; With no balancing of volunteer forces between opposing nations/factions, the war becomes unfair.
Tommy: I'm an alpha and Hoi4 games are full of Muppets.
Also Tommy: Never plays Majors and always has Discard save his ass.
fr, i mean i get liking to play minor nations, but then don't complain about teammates when you're the one forcing yourself to rely on them

I think the real problem is how half the games are full with "mercenaries" since you often fight with the winner since he has more money to hire you and like half the lobby stays neutral and only wants to fight and not care about losing. The whole mercenary thing is fun a few times but not every single game

That "recall volunteers" feature is somewhat scumbaggy imo. You can literally just recall your units when the enemy encircled you. As if mercenary nations weren't annoying enough already.
That's misleading. Germany wasn't in the war anymore. His divisions got stuck in neutral territory. It's jot an encirclement, but a sort of bug. Your units aren't killed because you had stupid micro, but because they couldnt get out after a peace deal. It's a really stupid thing. I once lost around ~50 divisions because of this sort of bug in singleplayer. I don't mind him using it in this sort of context. I don't even know if you can do this if you get acfually encircled on the battlefield.
I stand corrected. The shiit in Hungary truly was scumbaggy. I thought you meant the german one, but yi was wrong. Mb.

@@gergelyritter4412 Yeah, the Germany one was justified: troops got stuck in neutral territory after a peace conference. Recalling out of Hungary, Japan and Israel was pure scum though. He got his tanks into bad wars and then used recall cheese to escape encirclement or reposition out of low supply.

@@thepowerofsand6180 I know how to play HOI4, jackass. I'm not wasting nine minutes of my time watching a German drivel over diplomacy (as if the Germans were ever good at that!) just to get to him failing to use his troops for anything worthwhile in the next nine minutes.

Tommy could you make once a light/medium tank div with the most soft attack, cause you are fighting infantry 90% of the time
If your volunteers are bugged out, (also can happen to your actual army divisions too, when they get trapped in territory with no military access), the easy way to fix the problem is to assign the divisions to a fallback line or any other battle plan. They'll automatically route to their destination. Though some times they can route themselves into an area with military access but no way out.

Tommy could have used the planning cheat on his divisions for better stats having a field Marshall front line and the general on garrison in a neutral country. You can manually control the tanks but they still get planning like they are assigned to the front.

@@abhinavs8109 I didn’t know another way to describe it. But it is technically cheating as u aren’t using the front line orders as they are intended to be used.
@@Normalguy1690 It is an exploit, not a cheat. But its nothing serious as those tanks are still physically on the frontline.
I hope this becomes a feature one day as this is how most competitive people play the game. Make it so that any unit is allowed to gain planning as long as they border a tile that is not your nation/faction.

He should have rushed heavy cannon 3 instead. Armor is nice and all but damage is important too.
