Congratulations to all involved. Incredible engineering reflected in your great video. The team behind the entire journey over many years deserve the sincere thanks of all South Australians.
Agreed, it was a huge planning and engineering great, awesome sight to see.
Brilliant. We sometimes forget the people doing this project are volunteers 😊😊
Yep, and they've put in a massive effort.
Toured this ship. worth the effort
Nice work Tom
Thanks 👍
Great video Tom
Fabulous!
My family had a lot to do with the Maritime industry in Port Adelaide but buggered if I know what this video is about lol
It's been at dock 2 on the barge for 10 years, right near where the One And All docks.
I heard about this old girl a number of years ago now. Is this back in Adelaide now and are they restoring her?Fabulous
Partial restoration, mostly preservation.
@@weirdbikes okay. Thank you
I wonder if they had to get a timber inspection and treatment certificate.
That's not a clipper ship. Clippers were flush deck. Look at Cutty Shark. It looks like it has gun ports like 4th rate.
You are correct that the ship was in fact built to carry heavy cargo, unlike clipper ships, however clipper was a vague term applied to any fast ship
