Emh... The Italy has never english songs because goes to the eurovision only the winner of the festival of Sanremo (the festival of the italian song) and in this festival are present ONLY italian songs ... Bye from Italy :P
In both 2011 and 2012 Italy's songs were partially sung in English... you cannot say that have "never" sung in English. I know, I'm overthinking this right?
They sing mostly in Italian because of the rules of Festival di Sanremo where contestants have to sing in Italian (it's festival of Italian music) and the winner of this Festival is representative of Italy in ESC
Was not expected to see this review until much later! With that said, I love the review. Then again, it's one of my 3 favorite songs in the contest. Maybe it'll be the first non-English song to win since 2007. 1/8 of your reviews are done! You should do Finland, Sweden, and Belgium soon!
Listening to the video without understanding any of the lyrics, I could only assume at the beginning that the entire song was a tribute to Ghost. I'm kind of disappointed that it wasn't. I mean, I'm glad they like Back to the Future and Spiderman but popera (faux-opera) is not one of my favorite genres. Montenegro is still winning for me.

TheNewChannel53 but If you remeber, Nina Zilli sang in english and also Raphael Gualazzi ;-) They changed part of the song for the contest ;-)
To me, it is PERFECTION all around, even the 3-minute version of it!!!
I hate how all of the songs in esc are westernized so I love when countries ACTUALLY sing in their language and do something different

My favourite song this year, and one of the bookies favourites! Can't wait for your review on Sweden.

Due poveri ignoranti
It starts good then goes really really amazing until that boring chorus drops in. They could have done better.
Desmond Sky they have done better, making lots of music for more albums, which have won them awards
Italian Jonas brothers
Edson Portacio not at all
This song is SOOO dull. Italy will finish in the bottom 10.
+Chance Hamlin well... they came first in televotes so not that dull after all, eh?
No, it was still dull, Europe just has terrible taste.
They've actually won awards here in the U.S and have sold many albums.
