Freshly Milled Flour White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut

Freshly Milled Flour White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Cookies
2 Sticks unsalted butter (226 grams)
1 Cup Succanat or Brown Sugar
2/3 Cup honey granules or white sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 tsp real salt
1 tbsp corn starch
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
3 cups freshly milled flour of choice (I use soft white wheat)
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups raw macadamia nuts chop however you like
Pre-heat over to 325
cream butter and both sweeteners until butter is light and fluffy and lighter in color. This helps the sweetener break down.
Add ingredients into mixture until well incorporated.
If using 2 tbsp cookie scooper space at least 2 inches apart or more.
Bake 10 - 13 minutes or until golden on top.
If using smaller cookie scooper bake 8 - 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool and enjoy.

My family always called both of them spatulas. My boys still call the “bowl scraper” a spatula, but at some point they decided to start calling the other one a “flipper.” I should never have allowed that to continue, because as kids, we called swim fins “flippers.” Now I don’t know what to call anything anymore. 😂

These cookies turned out amazing! I did not use white "chocolate" chips in mine. I used dark chocolate chunks instead. The raw macadamias baked nice and crunchy. Also, I used my insulated cookie sheet which baked to cookies very nicely. Thank you for posting this recipe.

I find that more often than not I have to add more flour to my cookie recipes. I try to remember to test bake a few cookies to see if I need to add more. Recently I followed some advice to let the dough rest for several hours before baking. This gives the flour time to absorb more moisture so they won’t bake up as flat. It did help but I still had to add a little bit more flour.

I've noticed that I have less chance of my cookies and pancakes flattening if I let the dough sit and soak up the soft wheat for around 15 minutes
