Once again Lemmo outshines the beauty of the axe he's playing. His technique, creativity and invention seem to have no bounds. Great sounding guitar especially with those flat wound strings. Nice looking beast too. Serious vintage vibe.
Ending with a song in drop D, getting it out of the case and oh, it’s in drop D! This confirms my suspicion that you always record the couch first and the case opening second. Am I right? :-)
..the 175 is such a great guitar..my teacher had one before I went to Berklee in 1978..I traded my Les Paul for a 1960’s black 175 at the big store that was on Mass Ave at that time, can’t remember the name right now..but this one is 100 times nicer with a sweet P 90 no less..mine had 2 humbuckers..great playing Lemmo!!..thanks for sharing this folks
This guitar looks like the one that was in my buddy’s dads closet, we / manly me would get it out and play it when his mom and dad were gone, I asked them a while back to see if he wanted to sell it, he said he sold it to Jose Rivera, I called that guy , and he said he gave it to the grandson of my buddy’s dad, I’m not sure if he sold it , it was a 1951 single pick Gibson, sams colors just like this one. How much is it worth, ??? Nice thanks BigAl California.
What guitarist does Lemmos style resemble most? Of course he has earned himself a spot on the cut above list but please comment and let's see what y'all think?

Lemmo playing hollowbodies is my favorite thing
Lemmo playing his skin flute out back while a real guitarist demos the guitars is my favorite.
@@jimbucket2996 your mother is a hamster, and your father smells of elderberrys.
That thing unplugged sounds like a dream.
These sort of guitars suit Lemmos style of playing he certainly feels at home nice smooth chord changes .

Gorgeous bass tones when Lemmo strums. His sense of feel is simply divine, must be part of his DNA.
Lovely guitar and absolutely beautiful playing. Thanks lemmo

.....and I'd bet he's still sat there just playing that thing.
Altogether too good....
I have been playing my 52 ES 125 since
Closest I've got is an Ibanez LGB30, but I can dream.....
Thanks for doing these videos every day Lemmo, I love watching these as a wind down at the end of the day. Thanks for sharing 😊

Loving these gorgeous Gibson jazz boxes lately....keep ‘me coming.....beautiful playing as always Lemmo!
Oh man, those Wes style octaves sound amazing!
Sounds like a winner to me! You're the man Lemmo.
Awesome GOTD! Worth a second or third watch/listen. The 1950s was a good decade for guitars!
I always find myself watching lemmos gotd several times. His style is similar to Eric Clapton in some videos. Does anyone agree
Such a great guitar! Love the sound of a 175! However! Gotta do a Maton!

Wow...just, WOW!
Fantastic playing.
Thank you Michael appreciate it👍👍💣💥😎
Great great performance!!!!
The opening around 2:15 reminded me of "On the Street Where You Live" that my dad used to play on piano and my mom would sing.
Second tune reminded me of "Take Five," very Brubeck. Cheers...
'The Days of Wine and Roses'

I left Stallone a message that you probably do lessons.
Is that song you played at the end your version of Take Five? Whatever it is, I could listen to that jam and that guitar all day.
I dream of a beauty like this
Hearing some Wes Montgomery in that second song! Using the thumb just like Wes!
