- We haven't featured a archtop recently so today is the day, and what a great instrument we have for you all! A completely original, excellent condition ES-175 from 1954, and a wonderful little 1959 GA-8 amplifier! The ES-175 is in fantastic condition for its age, very clean overall with minimal signs of use. It has a great chunky 50's neck and a single killer P-90 pickup in the neck position. We'll let Jay gush over this guitar before handing it off to Karl for the demo, and we're sure you'll love the little 1959 GA-8 he'll be plugging it into.

how do you demo this without anything jazzy
Dude...trust me, I know my limitations as a player all too well! I just do the best I can :) As you might imagine, we don't get to just invite all the local jazz legends to come by the store in the middle of a global pandemic, but we do appreciate you tuning in to watch!
Great review. You’re very knowledgeable and a great player. Awesome review!
How 'bout breaking down and featuring some jazz for a jazz guitar? We hear enough rock-blues on all the other electrics.
I know! Sorry about that, but I promise you, I'd play some jazz if I knew how :)
TRUE! love the guitars, love amps... hate the dirty playing, and it is in ALL the videos
Do you still have this guitar for sale?
No way Jay was born in 54?! He looks so young!
+$250 refret
guitar sounds a bit dull..
No offense, but if you're trying to sell what is obviously a jazz guitar, could you please have a jazz guitarist play it instead of some hack blues player?
