As you saw in the picture that I inserted at the end, the waterproof did an awesome job of staying put when I used just water on my face. I did have to go in with an extra makeup remover to get the rest off on the waterproof side, but I'm okay with it since I know it works well. Overall this is a great mascara!

The waterproof one is good but its SO hard to remove

So weird, maybe I got a dud. I've been using this mascara since it came out and I LOVE IT. However, I accidentally grabbed the waterproof this last time when I ran out and I have had terrible issues with it. I find it clumpy and I cannot get it off easily with any makeup removers. I literally have to work with it for about 10 mins. I went back and picked up another original today because I can't deal with the waterproof.

Thaaaaaank youuu!!! I haven't bought a waterproof mascara in so long because usually, from my experience, they go on really gunky and never look as good as the original!! I'm so happy that you did this review! I'm going to go buy the waterproof before our vacation to the Bahamas. This is my new favorite mascara, so I will go buy the waterproof...... Hopefully I will be able to take it off at the end of the night!!!

I'd love to know to know an update on what you ended up thinking throughout the day! Did one side wear better at the end of the day compared to the other?
How about the process of removing it? I'm assuming that the waterproof side was of course more difficult, but I'd like to know the details about HOW much more difficult. Do you ever have problems with mascaras holding the curl? Did the waterproof side do better at holding the versus the normal?

I always use waterproof for every mascara I've ever tried and lash Paradise is top two hardest to remove

I saw this mascara in the store today and I had to fight everything in me to not get it! haha as soon as I use up some of my mascaras, I'm definitely gonna have to get it!

Wow, I thought it was only me who has a "better" side for lashes taking the mascara lol Also, I REALLY wanted to love the BTS mascara but it burned my eyes and just didnt perform as well as I expected. Cant wait to try this one! Just saw it yday in Rite Aid, and I was like What?! Did BTS have a secret twin for drugstore gals?! lol

thank you for this! I just got this mascara but accidentally got the waterproof one. I didnt know if I was missing out because of it. Now I see im not missing out. Only issue I have is that my lashes are so incredibly short that I get mascara all over my freaking eye lid! Every time! I hate that.
My lashes will not stay curled unless I use waterproof for any mascara I've ever tried, and I've tried SOOOOOO many in my 34 years! Anyone else have this problem? I really want to use non waterproof but I can't find any that keep the curl all day even if I curl my lashes before and after mascara application.

@@lifemyway200 Possibly try a heated lash curler? I've heard good things about them. Not sure if it's damaging to your lashes in the long run though.
Maggie Cao i always use my gar dryer to heat my eyelash curler.....i still have to use waterproof as a second coat for it to hold at all:(

The waterproof one is not as dark as the regular. I think the regular looks a little better

my lashes are very thin and really straight. They work really well with the lash sensational and I wanted to purchase this mascara but i'm not sure if I should because others have said this mascara is more of a wet formula, and wet formulas tend to made my lashes clump and spidery. Do you think I should purchase this? Especially since it's extremely difficult to find a mascara that holds a curl and separates. (btw I always purchase waterproof mascaras)
Hi! Personally I think the lash sensational is WAY more of a wet formula and the Loreal one is very dry in my opinion. Since I've been using this for a few months now, I think i still like my Maybelline one better. The Loreal one hasn't been as good as the first use. Hope that helps your decision!

The waterproof is also nuke proof. I have to use 3 different eye makeup removers to get it off! I will add that it makes my regular naked lashes look longer after a week or two of wear. Anyone else notice that?
I use waterproof for every mascara I've ever tried and this one is top two hardest to remove for sure. I always use coconut oil first then follow up with baby oil to get it completely off.

this mascara is awful!! so heavy on the eyes and clumps like crazy!!! i fell in to the hype ! and it's honestly the worst mascara i have ever put on.
