I used lash paradise for a while but it did transfer on me after wearing it for a long time. I have oily skin so this happens with some mascaras. Any tips to prevent this?

Amèrica Martinez It did keep the curl, it's also a bit clumpy. It makes my lashes look amazing its just difficult to get off. I have to take it off with coconut oil

Lash Sensational is my favorite mascara! I had to try Lash Paradise because of the hype. Lash Paradise is better on the first coat and has a more fluttery look, but if I try and do more than one coat I get clumpy, spider lashes. Lash Sensational is a wetter formula and I can add multiple coats easily and really build it up. It doesn't flake as badly as the Lash Sensational - which can lose its effect throughout the day, too, where Lash Sensational stays exactly the same. So if I'm in a hurry, Lash Paradise, if I have time, Lash Sensational. They are definitely two different looks!

I am loving the Maybelline Lash Sensational also(at your recommendation), but tonight I literally just picked up the Lash Paradise after seeing Tati rave about it with amazing results. Love the wispy look it gives. So pretty. So thank you for reading my mind. I just love you, one of my few subscriptions. You're precious and I really love your hair color! I so want to try the new ashy blonde, grayish look, but I am 48 and not quite sure if i could rock it like you do. Keep up the good work. You are a bright spot in my day.

+Mandy S Hey!! Thank you so much for your sweet words 💕. Isn't it crazy how fluffy it makes your lashes? I really haven't had a mascara do this. It's normally just separated like the lash sensational or a little more fuller and longer effect with something like Chanel or Lancôme but nothing fluffy! Girl you can totalllllly pull off whatever color hair you want! I say rock it with confidence!! It might help if you go to your hair stylist and ask about a color called smoke (I can't remember what brand it is, it's something funky) but it's more of a darker silver color. Maybe that will help? Either way, you do you and don't let anyone tell you otherwise 💕💕💕

I agree that mascaras do perform better when a little dryer. I always prefer my Lash Sensational when it has been open for a few weeks.

I use these two together, loreal first then the maybelline. Best of both brushes. I always use waterproof. My lashes look like falsies/exactly like the package model!

Lash Sensational has been my go to since they discontinued Dior Parfait (2001) I have just started using Lash Paradise Waterproof and I am loving it. It even looks good when left on overnite (I know, my bad). I will always resort to Sensational for big events.
I have and use both and think you nailed the differences on the head. I'm quite a bit older and have very thin and short lashes and I feel I get more length with the Lash Sensational and a more dramatic effect. The Lash Paradise is very natural looking but still has impact, which is great - I do see why people love it. I just don't think I'm getting quite the length with it that I can get with Lash Sensational, which is also darker and more dramatic on me. I do love the fluttery look though... so for days I don't wear eyeshadow, the Lash Paradise will probably be the one I use. I do get a little bit more smudging with the Lash Paradise, too, but it's minimal. I'm too lazy to use a waterproof on my lower lashes. LOL
OH one other big thing for me is that I don't have to curl my lashes with the Lash Sensational. NO joke - the mascara curls as I use it. I don't get that with the Lash Paradise and I kind of hate curling my lashes. I'm not very good at it and tend to pinch my lids!

I honestly love the lash sensational more, I've also noticed the packaging to the l'oreal one kind of scratching off so the pretty pink color isn't there anymore not that it matters lol but never had that happen before, and another thing is it dries out pretty quick and it's only been 3 weeks since purchase.
Anyways, the maybelline ones are always going to be my favorite drugstore mascara!

Yes! I'm a mascara snob too:) the falsies push up angel is amazing for lower lashes. I use probably 3-5 mascaras at once to get the effect that I want for different sections of my lashes. I have hooded eyes too, and not that great of lashes, but I can get them to look amazing with specific application techniques and a few different mascaras!

I have the lash paradise , at the first use it was ok for me but after few days when it became a bit dry it turned to be amazing
My eyes are shaped just like yours... almond shaped and hooded, with light-colored lashes... and I also have sensitive eyes since I wear contacts so I am usually dealing with watery eyes. I generally have a really difficult time with mascaras... either they flake on to my lower lid or into my eye and on to my contacts or they are too wet and transfer all over the place (especially with my oily skin) or they just irritate my eyes and cause me to touch my eyes constantly, which puts mascara all over the place. I am really liking the Lash Paradise. I like that it creates lengthy, wispy lashes... I hate when mascaras glue my individual lashes together and give me spider eyes. Also, it does not flake or transfer and, despite my propensity to touch and rub my eyes a lot during the day, this mascara hangs in there and keeps my lashes curled/lifted. Other mascaras seem to pull my lashes down. I bought the waterproof version since I do have watery eyes and the mascara doesn't wear off my lower lashes except for the very outer corner since that area is slightly wet most of the day and is where I rub my eyes. But even where it wears off, it seems to just disappear... not get all over my face! I am a wedding photographer, so I am anxious to see how it does on Saturday when I am shooting a wedding. It'll be outside in the July heat and I'm sure I'll be sweating and then of course I'll have a camera pushed up to my eye for like 8 hours... basically it's the Mascara Olympics! :D

Just got home from shooting that wedding! It was about an 11-hour day of shooting and it was 95 degrees outside and I was sweating like crazy. My eye shadow mostly disintegrated, but the mascara held in there amazingly well. I did not have panda eyes or flaking from the mascara. I don't know how it resisted the sweat and oil on my face! I had some wear off on the outer corners of my lower lashes, but that is typical for my watery eyes. Upper lashes are completely still coated and middle of the lower lashes still has mascara. I'm super impressed!

I too wear contacts and I find most mascaras flake plus I stopped wearing mascara on my bottoms lashes because they all tend to run and does not help my dark circles but I read your review and ran out and purchased this . I have been wearing for a couple weeks now and even sporting it on my lower lashes ...and taking it off at night so easy...Thank you for your reply ....my new love

BrittanyNichole yes I like the Maybelline but it gets really thick so I have to wipe the excess. It definitely can clump otherwise. It’s weird how people prefer dry vs wet and different wands (short plastic bristles vs long fluffy ones).
I'm 45 yrs and my eyes are small and hooded from age. It's like I don't have room for a transition shade and I feel like I look out of style and I hate that. I'm going to look at your videos and get some guidance. I just got lash paradise today and my goodness it's amazing. I just started using mascara this year so I've never seen anything like it. Good video!
+Chris Wallace hi chris! I'm right with you, sometimes I feel like a transition shade just makes my hood look heavier 😔. So my rule of thumb is usually the simpler, the better. I think a wash over the lids, blended out, is just as stunning as a crease color, outer v color, transition color, etc. 💕💕
I have both of these and for some reason I'm just not in love with them. Possibly I should wipe off the wand on the lash paradise. It's so clumpy and makes my lashes feel hard, crunch, harsh, etc. to the point where I have to take it off.
+Adrianna Aaliyah hmmmm maybe the formulas don't work with your natural oils or something. I hated the big shot mascara and everyone raved about it. I had the same experience super dry and made my lashes feel hard. What do you usually use?

lash sensational > lengthens and didn't really give much volume to my lashes

I have the Maybelline Lash Sensational and I do get the "more separated" and kind of clumpy effect which I have to separate at times. What I love about the Maybelline one is that it is more visible and seems to be darker (probably because it is clumped together). BUT the thing that sold me for Lash Paradise is that you mentioned the formula is drier and I want to try that because usually wet mascaras straighten my lashes after a couple of mins and I have to curl them again which clumps is more and it's so messy and sometimes painful. Thank you for this review!
+321beth321 yes!! I have he same issue with wet mascaras plus I am way more prone to making a mess and getting mascara everywhere. I have had very minimal issues with lash paradise it's almost impossible to make a mess when getting your inner corner little lashes. 💕💕 thanks for watching and commenting!!!

I love both these mascaras. The Maybelline really does give a fan effect. It separates my lashes And they look gorgeous And lash paradise holds such a beautiful curl I love it.
I have no clue why but could be my eye shape but lash sensational had never worked for me it just doesn't work but lash paradise is amazing length isn't an issue it just makes my lashes too thin I want VOLUME makes me look like I have falsies when indeed I have no clue how to put in falsies

I hate the L'oreal one. Makes me lashes so clumpy and it flakes on me like crazy. The Maybelline one I like in the waterproof formula. It holds my curl really well. But I will never understand the obsession with the L'oreal one. It's the worst formula I've tested in the recent years
Lash paradise is my favorite mascara of all time, however it runs out soooo fast :( and after awhile (when there's like nothing left lol) it gets sooo dry and clumpy and incredibly hard to work with so I have to buy a new one every month and I typically don't like to do that, but it's still my favorite mascara because I just like the way it makes my lashes look
+Hadley Flanagan you’re right it does dry out fast!! It’s such a dry formula in general I feel like that has something to do with it.
you can use some eye solution for dry eyes, add a few drops into your mascara, and that will fix it. I've done this many many times

Lash sensational is my all time favorite because it is SO black and volumizes and lengthens. O am enjoying last paradise but I really wish it was a thicker, darker formula. I am gonna try layering the 2 for potentially the best lashes ever!!!!
I got the Maybelline colossal volume express but it was a colossal disaster! I have small hooded eyes and the mascara was way too wet & went everywhere. I have to redo any eye makeup. I don't use waterproof but this one streaks with just one tear drop. So out of all the ones you've tried whats good for small eyes like us? A huge brush doesn't work for me.
I still love the lash sensational! the lash paradise is really great too and a lot drier so mistakes dont happen as easy but it dries out a lot faster!
We must be lash doppelganger's haha. I love MB Sensational, it's fantastic. It was my holy grail until I discovered Essence the false lashes. But I also use The Falsies Push Up Drama on my lower lashes. I have very similiar lashes, this is a great post. Much appreciated, it's the comparison I've been curious about!

The lash sensational with the metallic pink tube and black lettering has the worst brush!! For my lashes at least...Worst result ever! I changed the brush for another Maybelline mascara I had finished and could work with it ok

Your eye with lash paradise looks smaller. The other eye looks bigger. They both look great though. Two completely different looks. I never thought I could see such a dramatic difference but you can.

I have both in waterproof, and the loreal lash paradise is much wetter than the maybelline lash sensational. The loreal gives a much more dramatic effect too. Coats my lashes faster and makes them look fuller and longer.The maybelline one gives a more natural, subdued look. Am I the only one?

I like both. But I think I fall more toward lash paradise on my specific face. I don’t care about more separation I care about having the look of having more lashes and thicker!

This was a great review! I have been loving the Lash Sensational for a year and a half. I used to change mascara all the time, and now I haven’t had to :) Both of these look really nice on your eyes, and give different effects like you said. I personally love the slightly clumpy feline look I get with LS. The wand and the result with the Lash Paradise reminds me a lot of the Ciate Wonderwand mascara. I liked this video, I think you got a new subscriber :)

Currently I am using covergirl lashblast as it doesn't bother my eyes, but I am going to need to buy a new mascara soon and couldn't decide if I wanted to try since I don't trust all the big gurus hyping it. But after seeing your review I think I will buy it as I do like the wispy look and more dry formulas

+Jillozz can you believe I've never tried lash roller? I actually think lash paradise holds a curl for me pretty well because the formula is so light. Most of my other mascaras are too wet n heavy and drag my lashes down.
You should try waterproof mascara! I switched to waterproof mascara and the curl lasts all day. One downside is how difficult it is to remove but I use coconut oil and that works pretty well.
I purchased d maybelline sensational n wasn’t happy with it...very clumpy. I binned it.

BrittanyNichole Milani foundation is amazing. It's a full coverage but you can make it a light to medium if you had moisturizer in it😊. It's a natural finish but by adding a drop of oil you can make it dewy. The shades are amazing (yellow, neutral,pink) very pigmented. It doesnt go into pores or fine lines.It last all day and it's very affordable😊. I also love the total lash cover mascara. Perfect and easy application. Give volume and lengh with natural finish.thanks for your reply. I adore you😊your gorgeous 😍
