20:34 forward make such an important point. “There is no good news without bad news…”
As I attempted to deconstruct and attend a progressive forward church, I witness the lack of authority behind the preaching. Let’s not talk about sin, let’s not talk about hell. Everyone is a victim to their past with no accountability for their actions. It raises a generation of Christians who believe they can continue to sin while still receiving God’s grace and mercy. (Romans 6).
I appreciate you all for your willingness to speak truth even when it’s not favored.

Thanks for the comment. We’ll touch more on it as the podcast goes on. We agree it’s a big problem in the church. As for more women’s ministries than men’s ministries I think it’s because of 2 reasons. Women have more time than men. And, in our church, men run all the other ministries so there are many men in ministry and leading ministry.
As for the shooting ministry, great idea! We had a shooting club for men in our church for a couple years and we have a men’s BBQ coming up that is going to feature a shooting competition. Thanks for the essay 😂

Great video, keep up the good work!
I want to comment on the feminization of the christian church today. I wish it would have been more addressed. I think one reason why the church has more women attendance than men is part of what you touched on, in that the men of the church are chastised for being men.
For example, I did a quick google search of your church Foothills. It has more womens ministries listed than mens ministries. (And 2 of the already few mens ministries are about sexual addiction/healing. Im not arguing against those ministires, but it is just a big blow towards men. Like we are only there to mess up sexually and need help with that, and we dont need help and support raising our familys and being strong chrisian men.)
I'm curious as to what you guys think about an answer to letting men be men in the church?
Personally, I think men want purpose and a feeling of doing something bigger than ones self (which I believe the bible supports that view). Quick example if if I may: Most christian men I know own firearms. If the church were to post an event titled "Mens Range Shooting and Defense Tactics Class every thursday at 6pm." i'm sure there would be controversy in the church about that class even though 75% of men would agree with it.
(That is just one example of feminization. To be clear, I am not arguing that every man needs a firearm or needs to agree with firearms. Although I strongly agree with defense of self and others.)
Thanks for reading my essay ;)
