Ralph is on my short list of favorite guitarists. I have always wanted to see him perform live.
Ralph did not write mon enfant but is one of my all time favorites
We're sorry for this omission. The mentioned composition is from Towner's album "Diary". All tracks are written by Ralph Towner, except "Mon enfant", which is credited to "Unknown" or "Traditional".
Someone told me mon enfant means my infant / my child
I was looking around to find more information about this tune but could not find much. I suspect it is one of those traditional melodies that Ralph just decided to arrange so masterfully. Of the many recordings of his this has stood out over the years for it's lyrical and delicate beauty.
Many thanks for making this rare recording available
@@ziegunerweiser You're always welcome! Keep following to our channel!
"Nardis" is a composition by Miles Davis.not Bill Evans.

Itchy Towners!!
Why in the world is the screen shaking ... It's not artistic--it's annoying--( Great music though)!
