Hard to understand how someone get so deep in a instrument at a point where in the first 2 notes you know who's playing! Amazing! Sco is out of this world! Wish to see him live someday!

Sco is the best, but boy this planet is much diminished without the compositional talents of Carla Bley. She left a lot of beauty behind, though.
ジョンスコはもうジャンル一つ作ってしまった感じがしますね。所謂ジャズギターとも違うし、かと言ってコンテポラリーなトンガリジャズと言う括りももう一つしっくり来ない。何となく古き良きアメリカンミュージックの香りを漂わせながらプレイ内容は最先端。ホールズワースみたいな先駆者的境地もミュージシャンとして理想なのですが私にとってこんな老後こそがジャズメンの理想です。
