    Not sure if it's still valid but I feel really lucky and chosen that I found this channel. I used to train (won some tournaments) till 9th grade but then my dad got transferred and all that was in past. After 16 years I was facing issues on how to get started again as I gained almost 15kgs more than my BMI. I cannot express how grateful I'm feeling towards you. I scoured the RUclips but noone gave me the content I was searching for: a starting point and proper routine, but you did.

    👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽! Buakaw is one of my all-time favorite since K1 back in the days.
    He often works for long time with his lead side and dictates the fight that way. When I started my lead side (left) used to be better. Later the right side overtook and I wasn’t happy with the left anymore. Sometimes I hesitated to throw left kicks. When everything was on lockdown and no team trainings, I analyzed Buakaw fighting style and used it to work on the lead side again. I drilled myself on punching bag over and over. Now I sometimes forget about my right roundhouse kick because it’s working fine with left😅.

    @SeanFagan Hey sir, I have a question for you. I practice and teach a style of tradtional kung fu called Choy Lee Fut. Our style way back in the day went out to fight muay thai in the past. My question to you is this, while CLF and MT share many of the same tools. MT uses the teep and extends the foot to use the balls. My system uses a similar kick, but focuses on the usage of the heel instead. In YOUR opinion sir, would there be much of a difference in effectiveness between the balls of the foot or the heal?

    Hey man, have you made video about starting muay thay as an adult? I am soon turning to 37 and i am in good condition and fexible and always doing kicking drills since childhood. But i have never actually trained any combat sport in a club. What is you opinion about starting muay thay at 37? I dont think i would have any problem in general conditioning and coordination and muscle memory things. Only thing i am wondering how much i can learn fighting stragedies and actual fighting at this age? Some in social media say its too late to start anything outside of senior class. I dissagree with them but what is your opinion?

    • @seanfagan
      @seanfagan  3 года назад +1

      It’s all in your mind man. If you can believe it, work hard, stay disciplined and be willing by to sacrifice, then you can do anything. It also depends on your goals and what you’re trying to do, but you’re never too old to start 👊🙏

      @@seanfagan thanks for encouraging answer actually this is what i believe also, just people in social media is always putting limits and doubts to everything. According to them people should just quite living after 35. And even 20 years can be to old for them. Anyway keep on making good videos 👏
