Wow Rudy! Love those practical tips! I have a few second hand cds that could do with a little tender loving care... I just hope I can find those products here in Greece (also, I will need to find out how those products are called in Greek 🤣🤣🤣). Thank you so much, you are a gem 🤗🤗🤗
it’s basically just a rubbing compound or scratch repair. You can find in any auto section of any department store or auto store. thank you so much for supporting the channel. I’m glad you enjoy it. Have a great day.! 😊
Check for light shining through scratches as those aren't really repairable. It's really the multiple scratches in the groove that cause the laser to skip. Actually the number one reason why discs skip is dirt or something opaque on the disc. Glad it worked. Fine grain sand paper is probably the best and then buff out as you have to get an even removal of the layer and then rebuff for readability.
My CD's (and DVD's) that I've brought from new, are all in pristine condition.😇 I love buying second hand CD's but I always check them before buying, whatever the price. If there's a slight scratch, I wont buy it. Volunteering in a charity shop, when checking them but not often, they look like they've been rubbed with sand paper, especially children's DVD's. 😒The only thing I'll do, is swap cracked jewel cases. A good way of cleaning them though.
Caring for you music is always the best way… I don’t buy scuffed up cds either but I was glad to be able to save that cd that came as a freebie! I’m also with you on the Jewel cases! Have a blessed day Peter!😊
I agree with you. I try buy mint s/h cds or with a scratch if I really want it. DVDs though are worse for not playing so I only buy s/h dvd that are mint. Cheers.

Thanks for info and the tips! Sand paper sounds scary but I bet it works really good if you’re brave enough to try it! Thanks for watching! 🙏

The John Lennon cd looked good after you polished it. The liquid looked the easier solution to cleaning cds.
Thanks! Definitely the easiest way! Have a nice Easter Sunday! God Bless!🙏
I have used toothpaste to get scratches out of unplayable CD,s works good.
I’ve heard of that. Glad to hear that it works from someone who’s tried it successfully! Thanks for sharing and watching the channel! God Bless! 😊❤️
